From the photostroll the other night with John.

Sometimes the city can be so beautiful. The company you keep, the people you meet. The friends that will endure, those likeminded, those so different that help balance. I keep complaining about Charlotte because my best friend is so far away, but she keeps talking about moving this way. If Jenn lived this way I know it would be a bit better. I still miss the beach but it's that longing for people who have known me most of my life to be anywhere near, you know? Keep talking how much I want to go back to cape may but the more and more I think of it, yes it holds some of the best times of my life when I was younger. But I have that mark of when I'm older, you know the one, everyone knows my life and what happened. There is so much pain that lies there for me too, I stopped out running it, but how do I go back to that right now. When I grow older and settle I will settle there, for now it is Charlotte and then I don't know. We'll see.

The city is beautiful when you give it a chance, I've just never tried because I wanted to go back to my beach and never quite let Charlotte experience me, or me experience Charlotte.

Some people show me new things in this place almost daily and I'm soaking it up like a child just learning to read.

Teach me.
