Quinoa Stuffed Bell Peppers




Quinoa Stuffed Bell Peppers





I made these the other night and they were delicious. Click the picture for the recipe.

Ingredients:

2 cups of quinoa, cooked
1 small regular zucchini, chopped
1 small white zucchini, chopped
1 onion, chopped
4 bell peppers (6 if you don't want any leftover, unstuffed quinoa)
1.5 tsp cumin
1 can diced tomatoes
2 cloves garlic, minced
oregano (use your discretion)
3/4 cup cashews, chopped
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
The timing on this one is a little tricky so I recommend doing it on a night when you just want to chill out and cook without too much effort.

1. Chop the tops off of the peppers, about a half inch from the top. Cut around the stem and throw it out, then chop the remaining pepper and set it aside. Pull out the shit in the middle of the pepper (you know, seeds and all that crap).

2a. Cook the quinoa the way you'd cook rice. I use a plastic rice steamer, appx 2 parts water to 1 part quinoa, and microwave for 15 minutes.

2b. Boil a large pot of water and submerge the pepper bowls. Cook for about 5 minutes.

2c. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit

3. Heat some olive oil in a skillet-type-pot and add the onion and garlic and sautee for 3 minutes. Take them out and drain them in a large colander. Set aside.

4. Add the chopped bell pepper and cumin and sautee for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

5. Add the tomato, zucchini, oregano, and cashes, and salt and pepper (as desired). Sautee for another 5 min or so.

6. Fold in the cooked quinoa with the heat still on. Once everything is evenly distributed, turn off the heat.

7. Grease a baking pan and set the pepper bowls in open-side up. Spoon the quinoa mixture into the bowls.

8. Loosely cover the pan with foil and put the peppers in the oven for about 20 minutes.

9. Take them out and eat them.

Four Cheese-Veggie Lasagna Cups





INGREDIENTS
1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® Flaky Layers refrigerated original biscuits (8 biscuits)
1 bag (12 oz) Green Giant® Valley Fresh Steamers™ frozen broccoli, carrots, cauliflower & cheese sauce
3/4 cup diced tomatoes with roasted garlic and onion (from 14-oz can)
1/3 cup Italian-style tomato paste (from 6-oz can)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (5 oz)

DIRECTIONS
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Separate 2 biscuits into 3 layers each; add 1 layer to each of remaining 6 biscuits. In ungreased jumbo muffin pan, press each biscuit on bottom and up side of muffin cup.
2. Microwave frozen vegetables as directed on bag. Pour vegetables into medium bowl; stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, salt and garlic.
3. In small bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese and 1/4 teaspoon of the parsley. Spoon 1 rounded tablespoon ricotta mixture into each biscuit. Top each with 1 tablespoon mozzarella cheese and rounded 1/4 cup vegetable mixture. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese and parsley.
4. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and filling is hot. Cool in pan 5 minutes. Carefully run knife around side of cups to loosen; remove from pan. Cool 10 minutes longer before serving. Serve warm.

Directions Hair Colour - Turquoise 88ml Pot






Directions Hair Colour - Turquoise La Riche Directions Hair Dye comes in a range of vibrant and exciting colours. For best results on virgin or untreated hair presoftening the hair will allow the hair colour to penetrate the hair better. All La Riche Directions colours can be mixed with each other so to create your own unique shade. Directions will take longer and faster on chemically treated hair e.g permed or bleached. Directions is not a permanent hair dye. 1. Shampoo the hair with a PH acid balanced shampoo this will give the hair the correct acid balance allowing La Riche Directions Hair Colourant to achieve the best results. 2. Towel dry the hair apply Directions with a tint brush evenly through the hair. 3. Comb Directions into the hair until it emulsifies i.e becomes frothy; the pigments will have penetrated into the hair. Lighter shades may require a little more combing. 4. Processing time is between 15 and 30 minutes a plastic cap will contain the heat on the hair helping to achieve a better result. 5. Rinse the hair thoroughly away from the face with warm water until all the residue dye has been removed. DO's Wear rubber or plastic gloves when applying the hair colour. To avoid staining of the forehead use vaseline petroleum jelly or baby oil around the hairline. As with all hair colours a swatch test is advised first. DO NOT MIX DIRECTIONS WITH PEROXIDE. DO NOT USE ON EYELASHES. DO NOT USE SHAMPOO WITH CONDITIONER INCLUDED. If more than one colour is applied the hair must be washed and dried separately greater care should be taken when partially colouring lighter hair. WARNING Due to the semi-permanent nature of La Riche Directions certain colours can sometimes leave a slight stain on materials and surfaces. Shades may vary at manufacturer's discretion. DIRECTIONS HAIR COLOUR IS NOT AND HAS NEVER BEEN TESTED ON ANIMALS.
