RIHANNA’S BOYFRIEND CHRIS BROWN ‘SADDENED’ OVER ASSAULT

Rihanna’s boyfriend Chris Brown has apologized over alleged assault on the Barbados singer. Both stars abruptly cancelled their performances at the Grammy Awards on February 8 as Brown has reportedly hurt his girlfriend. Brown since has been arrested, booked for suspicion of making criminal threats and released on $50,000 bail. The Forever singer has released a statement saying, “Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired.” He went on, "I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person." His words came after Rihanna’s father Ronald Fenty, told People magazine, "You think you know somebody, but you really don't," "At some point, she will speak out. I hope she will stand up for women all over the world."
