World of Warcraft - cheating to lvl 80
EXP abuse in WoW?
Blizzard drops the ball one more time with a (flying) quest which can be repeated indefinitely, thus leveling your character in a jiffy.
The quest itself is located in ZulDrak;
Level 75 Zul'Drak
Obtained at level 74 HordeAlliance
Drakuru in Voltarus wants you to speak to Gorebag and take the tour of Zul'Drak. It is issued by Drakuru (while wearing ghoul disguise).
In order to get the much needed ghoul disquise you need to finish a prequel quest called Infiltrating Voltarus.
This entire quest line starts with An Invitation, of Sorts which "activates" once you get this choker as a drop in the zone.
In any case, this is what you need to do:
At ground level stand in the middle of the circular platform and you get teleported in front of the big troll in Voltarus. He gives you the quest "Dark Horizon". While in Voltarus head south east to gorebag, and he takes you on a trip of Zul'drak.
Once you arive back in Voltarus hand the quest in (Dark Horizon) and recieve 20950 experience and 5 gold 90 silver.
Next head back to the middle of Voltarus (the circle teleport platform) and get teleported back to ground level. Use the horn to summon the NPC who arrives on a DK flying mount, and then you need to abandon "Infiltrating Voltarus". This is essential, otherwise you cannot repeat "Dark Horizon".
Once you've abandoned and picked up "Infiltrating Voltarus", head back to the teleporter and pickup the quest "Dark Horizon" again by using the horn to summon the npc. Do the quest as many times as you need. You can get 280k experience and hour doing it.
Needless to say, today (11.1.2009) there has been a large number of ghouls doing this quest over and over again. Mostly DKs.
So, if you ever wondered how your friend managed to get to lvl 80 in a day or so, now you know how.
The question that remains is, is it moral to cheat in this way? Or, is it stupid NOT TO cheat in this way, when everyone else is doing it?
Once you get down to PvP, lvl 80s that cheated their way to their level wont let you off of their hooks easily, you will die - and be /laugh at.
