•Pocetak rada zabiljezavaju 1994 kada su stari prijatelji Justin i Pat dobili ideju da naprave punk grupu i da naprave pozitivan utjecaj na svijet.Dok vecina melodicnih punk grupa dolaze iz kalifornije, Anti-flag dolaze iz prljavog industrijskog grada Pittsburgh-a u Pennsylvaniji.
•Nakon placanja racuna par godina sa izdavanjem 7' singlica i sviranje koncerata, Anti-flag snimaju svoj prvi album 1997, pod nazivom 'Die For The Government'.Ovo je oznacilo dobrodoslicu u punk scenu nakon sto su ostavili veliki utjecaj sa svojim radom.
•u 1999 Anti-flag izdaje i svoj drugi album, 'A New Kind Of Army' koji je bio na New York-ovoj izdavackoj kuci Go-Kart records.Album je univerzalni poziv na budjenje i aktivizam.A New kind of Army je politicki ustrojeno remekdjelo sa pjesmama poput 'Free Nation?', 'We got the numbers' te 'Police story' koji opravdaju njihovi pozitivnu poruku svijetu, nakon cega su bili pozvani na Warped tour gdje su dijelili binu sa grupama kao NOFX, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Donnas, Suicide Machines, i MxPx.

•Upravo na tom Warped touru su upoznali Fat Mike-a (Pjevaca NOFX-a te vodje Fat Wreck chordsa) koji je bio jako zainteresovan da suradjiva sa tim pankerima iz Pittsburgh-a.Oni su bili iznenadjeni te su odma skocili na sansu koju su dobili.Nedugo zatim, Anti-Flag ulaze u studio sa Mass Giorginijem (producer Born Against, Screeching Weasel, Smoking Popes, The Queers...), ciji je rezultat bio brilijantno trece izdanje, Underground Network.Anti-flag su dali sve od sebe za prvo njihovo izdanje na Fat wreck-u, te su napravili njihov najbolji album do sada!
•Underground Network je savrsen punk rock album.Pored perfektne produkcije, njihov stil pisanja pjesama je takodjer ukrasio album, praveci ga najboljim punk rock albumom godine.Kao goste na albumu imaju napisane eseje iskljucivo za ovaj album od strane Howard Zin-a, profesora politicke nauke, te od Noam Chomsky-ija.
•Nakon ovog izdanja, izdali su Mobilize, koji je izasao za njihovu vlastitu izdavacu kucu A-F records pocetkom 2002.Album je napravljen uz inspiraciju na 9/11.
Pjesme su strogo protiv ratne te su uz izdanje napravili i turneju nazvanu 'Mobilizacija za mir' sa Good Riddance, Strike Anywhere i Thrice.U 2003 Anti-Flag imaju namjeru da snime jos jedan album za Fat Wreck.Sigurno nesto na sta treba da se pazi.
