The tin opener
The device referred to as ‘the tin opener’ may be one of the most brilliant things mankind has ever created. It is not one of most recent inventions, but it is definitely one which usefulness is unmatched by no other man made tool.
The tin opener is a master device for opening all kinds of cans. Big cans, small cans, medium cans… round cans or spherical cans… cans containing tuna, cans containing salad, cans containing meat, cans containing vegetables, cans containing nothing but air… even the most complex cans can easily be breached using the tin opener.
The tin opener is minute and light. Even the most unprepared and untrained person won’t be encumbered when carrying one of these perfect tools. It is easy to deploy, use and maintain, even by children, although it can cause serious injuries, like decapitation, if not handled with care.
Without tin openers people would have to utilise different heavy tools for opening their cans, even the most simple ones. Without tin openers world would indeed be a dark place to live in.
