Nikon D80 Body
Nikon's phenomenal new semi-professional D-SLR, the D80, will impress any photographer who wants to expand the scope of their creative palette. Built upon the solid foundations of the Nikon's award winning D200 and the D2Xs, its exceptional combination of superior optical performance, creative image technologies and efficient handling will strengthen your belief in Nikon's ability to support your creative aspirations, no matter which shooting style you prefer
This versatile, high-power 7.5x Zoom-Nikkor lens features Nikon Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass element, which delivers superior optical performance. ED glass minimizes chromatic aberrations, contributing to superb contrast and resolution performance. Internal Focus (IF) provides fast and quiet auto focusing without changing the length of the lens, retaining subject-working distance through the focus range. The non-rotating front element provides for convenient use of circular polarizing filters and the Nikon Wireless close-up speedlight system, while a compact Silent Wave Motor (SWM) enables fast and quiet autofocusing, along with quick switching between autofocus and manual operation (M/A and M). On top of that there's a seven-blade rounded diaphragm opening, due to which out-of-focus elements appear more natural

I have spent about $1,000 on this camera.
It's been a little over a week since i sprained my ankle playing basketball. The doc said 2 weeks, which was kinda expected but still...this is ridiculous.
I've been hobbling around on crutches and relying on other people for help. Not having use of your hands when you walk is pretty difficult to get used to. Though, I am only relying on one crutch at the present, shit is still tough. I can't just hop up and run out to my truck for something, or easily go grab a drink. Not to mention how difficult setting up light stands and walking back and forth between lights and camera and subject is. Makes this 365 pretty difficult.
I have about had it with this temporary disability. I take out my frustration on the damn crutches. You know how there are those days where all the little things drive you crazy? Today was one of those and I'm bordering on losing my mind. What is supposed to be a supportive relationship (between me and my crutches) is proving to be extremely frustrating.
Hopefully I can ditch em completely in the next couple days!
