The new filter adapter arrived today, ninety percent improvement. The name of the game with these products is compromise. So instead of having it work flawlessly, it is just one mm too long and causes vignetting with a polarizing filter. Not a huge deal since I crop most of my images anyway to 3/2, but still an issue. The real improvement is how well it works with the 0.8 WC-DC10, it completely removes the stress on the servo and the lens focuses much better through it and not just at the widest angle. There is some vignetting evident in the picture before distortion correction, but after correction the vignetting is cropped out (i.e. not a problem).

The honeycomb compound eye is best viewed on Large 1024 x 708) and Original (3089 x 2136) sizes. Photo taken with a Canon SX30 IS using a Raynox DCR-250 microscopic lens attached by a Lensmate 58mm filter-adapter.

This is an attachment for Fenix TK-series flashlightings which owns outstanding filtration ability to maintain strong red light only. With its high penetrability for fog and smoke, it could be used as singnal lamp or when necessary.
