(10) Baby Girl Quilt Back in the beginning of this year when I discovered I was pregnant, I decided that I wanted to make a quilt for the baby and have it ready for when he/she came. (I think my motives were that it would give me an excuse to make a girl's quilt - we had three sons at that point). So here is the girl's quilt, finished about 3 weeks before our fourth son was born! He came 2 weeks early, and that is my excuse for not having his quilt finished. I'm about halfway there though! The inspiration for my quilt is the Le Jardin quilt pattern I've seen here in Flickr. I pieced the strips, and then assembled the quilt according to the quilt as you go directions on the Quilt Taffy blog. It was nice to do the last few steps at the same time.
