KURT COBAIN
Kurt Cobain (Kurt Donald Cobain, rođen 20. veljače 1967. u Aberdeenu, Washington; umro 5. travnja 1994. u Seattleu) je bio pjesnik, slikar, vokal, tekstopisac i gitarist američke grunge grupe Nirvana. Najveće svjetske uspjehe imao je sa pjesmama Smells Like Teen Spirit, Come As You Are, Heart Shaped Box i All Apologies.
Kao dijete bio je hiperaktivan pa su mu liječnici prepisali lijekove koji bi ga držali budnim do kasnih sati te su mu davani i sedativi da mu pomognu zaspati. Mnogi vjeruju da je to razlog njegove kasnije ovisnosti o heroinu. Kada je imao sedam godina roditelji su mu se razveli te je živio kod rođaka. Kurt je imao i zdravstvenih problem koje nitko nije mogao objasniti,lječnici su mu davali gomile nepotrebnih ljekova i možda je baš zato postao ovisnik o heroinu.
Prvu gitaru kupio je za svoj 14. rođendan i uživao je stvarajući svoju muziku. Nekoliko tjedana prije mature odustao je od školovanja i zaposlio se. Radio je nekoliko poslova koji su na kraju završavali neuspjehom.
Nirvana je nastala 1986. godine kada su se spojili Kurt Cobain i Krist Novoselic koji je svirao bass gitaru. Nakon što su izmijenili nekoliko bubnjara konačni izbor pao je na Davea Grohla. 1988. godine izbacili su svoj prvi demo, a sljedeće godine snimili i prvi album, "Bleach". Krenula je i prva turneja po SAD-u. 1991. izdali su album "Nevermind", a najveći hit bila je pjesma "Smells like teen spirit" koja je zauzela prvo mjesto mnogih svjetskih top lista.
. U tom periodu Cobain je naveliko konzumirao droge, heroin i morfin.
24. siječnja 1992. Kurt Cobain oženio se s bivšom striptizetom Courtney Love na Havajima. Šest mjeseci nakon vjenčanja dobili su kćer Frances Bean. Ostali članovi Nirvane nadali su se da će se Kurt smiriti nakon što je postao suprug i otac.
U to vrijeme snimili su još jedan album "Incesticide", koji se trebao "riješiti" svih onih lažnih obožavatelja. U tome su i uspjeli. 1993. godine snimaju album koji je ujedno bio i njihov posljednji, "In Utero".
Problemi s drogom postajali su sve ozbiljniji. Svoj posljednji koncert održali su 29. ožujka 1994. godine u Münchenu. Sedam dana kasnije Cobain je pao u komu zbog prevelike doze heroina.
Kurt Cobain je umro 5. travnja 1994., a pronađen je mrtav u svom domu, 8. travnja 1994. godine. Uzrok smrti bilo je samoubojstvo.(navodno)

COREY TAYLOR
Corey Taylor, born December 8, 1973, is the lead singer of nu metal band Slipknot and vocalist and occasional guitarist of the band Stone Sour, the latter being formed prior to the commercial success of Slipknot.
Known as "the guy that was always ready to go out and do shots", Taylor's drinking became more and more problematic as time went by. Eventually it reached a point where Taylor would begin to drink as soon as he got up in the morning and generally would not stop until blacking out.
Taylor finally made several attempts at suicide. All this culminated to the night of November 14, 2003. Taylor chose to quit drinking and go sober rather then lose his family.
In September of 2004, fans of Taylor were alarmed by quickly circulating rumors that he had died. The rumors were started by a website that had declared Taylor's death on the Friday of September 10, 2004. Further fanning the flames of the speculation into the matter, radio personality Mancow Muller discussed the subject of Taylor's death on his show on the following Tuesday, September 14.
According to Scarlett, the rumors first attributed Taylor's death to a drug overdose, then later to a fatal car crash. The whole incident happened to coincide with a birthday for Taylor's son on the following Friday (September 17).
Corey Taylor's mask, which was originally made from a crash test dummy-style halloween mask, is equipped with brown and blonde dreadlocks made from his real hair. It is said that his new mask is now inspired by Texas Chainsaw Massacre's Leatherface. His new mask looks like a face full of burns, scars and stitches.
Corey has always been a huge fan of Spider-Man, wears a large Spider-man head ring, and has a Spider-man tattoo.
Corey also has a band with former Slipknot member Josh Brainard called Audacious P (A Tenacious D Tribute Band).
Corey is also in a cover band called Dum Fux, genres include punk, metal, 70s rock, 80s synth, "whatever the band feels like doing

IZZY STRADLIN
Izzy Stradlin je američki glazbenik najbolje zapamćen kao ritam gitarist hard rock benda Guns N' Roses. Suprotno od vjerovanog, Izzy je - zajedno s pjevačem Axlom Roseom - bio dominantni tekstopisac za Guns N' Roses. Iako je Slash bio odličan lead gitarist, definirajući zvuk benda, Izzy je bio onaj koji je pisao i glazbu i riječi za pjesme Patience, Think About You, Mr. Brownstone, 14 Years, Double Talkin' Jive i You Could Be Mine. Uistinu, postoje par klasičnih "Guns" pjesama koje nije barem malo doradio Izzy. S četiri albuma na kojima je radio udružio se sa Slashom da bi složili riffove konkurentne nekima od najboljih hard rock bendova.
Izzy Stradlin je rođen kao Jeffrey Isbell 8. travnja 1962., u Lafayette, Indiana gdje je i odrastao.
Izzyevi glazbeni favoriti su Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin i Rolling Stones, ali najveći utjecaj je imala njegova baka, koja je imala bend zajedno sa svojim prijateljima. U srednjoj školi Izzy je započeo bend sa svojim prijateljima. Jedan od njih je bio William Bailey, poznatiji kao Axl Rose.
Nakon mature Izzy je shvatio da Indiana nije mjesto gdje bi imao glazbenu karijeru. Spakirao je bubnjeve u auto i krenuo u Los Angeles. Pokušao je svirati s par bendova kao bubnjar, zatim se nekratko prebacio na bas. Nakon nekoliko godina u Los Angelesu, Izzy se ponovno našao s Axlom, i osnovali su bend Rose (kasnije nazvan Hollywood Rose), prvi bend u kojem je Izzy svirao gitaru. 1984. je nakratko napustio bend da bi se pridružio Sunset Strip stapleu, London. Međutim, vratio se svirati u Rose.
Rose je postao Hollywood Rose, i onda se raspao, zatim ponovno skupio i postao Guns N' Roses. Rana povijest benda je zbunjujuća, ali u lipnju 1985. klasična postava Guns N' Rosesa je krenula na svoju prvu turneju. Neslavna "Hell Tour" je odvela bend uzduž zapadne obale SAD-a u Seattle, rodni grad basista Duffa KcKagana. Oko tog vremena Izzy je usvojio svoj ciganski izgled i počeo svirati starinske gitare, oboje u čast svog uzora, gitarista Rolling Stonesa, Keitha Richardsa.
Kad je "Appetite for Destruction" turneja završila, Izzy, zajedno s kolegama iz benda Slashom, Duffom i Stevenom, je krenuo u period teškog opijanja i korištenja droge. Za razliku od druge trojice, Izzy se uspio oduprijeti iskušenju kontinuiranog trovanja i očistio se.
Izzy je napustio bend u studenom 1991.
Nakon Guns N' Roses vratio se u Indianu i počeo snimati pjesme koje su završile na njegovom prvom solo albumu s njegovim bendom the Ju Ju Hounds, Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds. Glazba je bila opuštenija i jednostavnija nego Illusion albumi (Use Your Illusion I i II), što mnogi ljudi smatraju da je preproducirano. Dobili su poštene kritike i krenuli na svjetsku turneju.
Tijekom ovih godina izbivanja mnogo je putovao i posvetio više vremena svojim hobijima: motorima i utrkivanju. Čak je sagradio pistu blizu svoje kuće. 1998. Izzy se vratio na glazbenu scenu sa svojim drugim solo albumom 117°. Kao i prije, nije se baš zanimao za promociju albuma — odlučio je samo dati nekoliko intervjua — i odsvirao nekoliko koncerata. Ispalo je da je taj album bio zadnji Izzyjev album izdan od izdavačke kuće Geffen Records. 1999. njegov treći solo album Ride On je izdan od izdavačke kuće Universal Victor. Ovaj put je Stradlin odradio malu turneju po Japanu kao promociju. Četvrti album nazvan River je izdan 2001.
2003. Stradlin je snimio šesti album Like A Dog. Nekoliko promotivnih kopija je izrađeno, ali album nije izdan
Kao i sa bivšim kolegom iz Gunsa, Mattom Sorumom, čini se da su Stradlin i Axl Rose popravili svoje prijateljstvo. Dojavljeno je da je Rose došao na rođendansku proslavu održanu za Stradlina u New Yorku.
ZAŠTO GA VOLIM?
Iako više neslušam Gunse tako često kao i prije Izzy mi je osta jedan od najdražih ljudi. Volim ga zato šta je cili nekako flegmast pa me posjeća na mene hehe. Piše prelipe pjesme i čudno se oblači.
