Day before yesterday I came back home(1).
Or I almost came back home(1). As the things work, at home I don t feel like being at home... I know, I know... weird construction and weird feeling, too.

Today I went to see and get serviced (feeling like a car now, or if my imagination would have been a bit more dirty, like something else) by the best dentist in the world! He is good. Very slow and very thorough. I like the way he works, and that s why I don t have another dentist at home(2).
Have an appointment for tomorrow again.

Yesterday I had the sexiest chat with my boyfriend who has decided to remind me why I miss him.
As he s decided to become an atheist (he has very good reasons, though...), he s been using blasphemy on the daily basis.
Anyway, he has made a small prayer just for me, and that was the sexiest ... poem? writing?, whatever... I have ever received.
Can t put it on line without his permission. So if there will be a permission, there will be blasphemy on my bog, too.

Feeling tired. It is only 17.20 (hm... might get him on the msn in a mo), but I m feeling like I haven t slept for days!
Going to bed.

Today I have changed my table calendar.

As I ripped off the pages from the calendar (I tend to keep the ones I have jotted down the email addresses or the phone numbers... you know pure laziness - don't feel like re-writing them again), I've noticed how busy my year has been.

Never before have I visited so many opera or ballet performances as last year.
Never before I have I been at so many concerts!

Been to Rubens exhibition in Brussels, been to Velasquez exhibition in London. Been to Picasso exhibition and old Dutch masters exhibition in The Hague.

I had lots of lunches and coffee's with my friends.

I had 7 vacations in 4 different countries. (I've been on Iceland, something that makes me very happy.)

I had a final break up with my ex boyfriend (who is very nice but couldn't understand "I'm afraid not any more") and 7 (or 8) dates with rather interesting guys. A few weird. But still interesting.

I've lost weight, got sick a few times. Baked cakes for the charities.

I was burglarised once, and suffered after that for 6 months.

Started yoga practice, and still doing it (despite my low span of interest).

I got a freight of my life when I thought I might have a breast cancer.

I had performed on the stage, had a half an hour monologue (thank you for the performing rights Mr Archer!!!), which went fine up to the moment when I have realised how many people were looking at me.

I got refused for a few jobs I have applied for. Got humiliated when asked a few questions (retrospectively, yes they were stupid questions). Felt low when I realised I am more in love with my present boyfriend then he is with me.

All in all, a very full and eventful year.
Bye a year of my life. Bye 2007!

Sometimes I really wonder why on Earth do I get and then forward the chain letters.

Today I have received one with "Even if you don't know it there is a person in this world that loves you... Forward this to all your friends, the one who has sent it to you included…".

My question is... why do people (me included) send this kind of mail?
Do they (I) feel insecure about themselves? Do they think that by number of returned emails they can see how much they’ve been loved and appreciated?
Does that two-click action in my email programme mean I actually really love and appreciate a person who has sent me that chain letter in the first place?
Is it just some kind of reassurance for my friends? Am I really such a lousy friend that the only way they know I appreciate them is if (when) I return a “friendship” chain letter?

Chain letters do “miracles’ to our servers.
Please, use them! IF you want to clog the server and create more problems than they’re worth it.

Otherwise, just delete the damn chain letter and write a few lines to your friend.
“Hi, I’m fine and missing you too! How about coffee on Wednesday? Love, T.”
