At some point or another, every homeowner will have to deal with a clogged drain. More often than not, this clog occurs in the kitchen sink. To fix the issue, you'll have to become familiar with one or two methods of drain cleaning. These strategies can run from cheap and quick to somewhat more expensive and complicated. Of course, the best strategy is to avoid these clogs in the first place. You can do this by not putting substances like grease down the sink, which can congeal against the sides of your pipes and cause problems. - Manually Remove The Debris

Your first step should be to take the stopper out of the sink and see what you can remove with your hands or some kind of grabber.
