Union Embarks On Strike Over Judgment Reinstating Former Kwara CJ

The Kwara chapter from the Judicial Staff Union (JUSU) on Monday embarked on the seven-day warning strike to protest the verdict from the Top Court that reinstated former Chief Judge of Kwara Justice Raliat Habeeb-Elelu.

Habeeb-Elelu was removed in '09 by former Gov. Bukola Saraki for alleged gross misconduct, however the Top Court on Friday reinstated her, saying that Saraki didn't stick to the constitutional process in getting rid of her from office.
