An undergraduate degree (also called first degree or simply degree) is a colloquial term for an academic degree taken by a person who has completed undergraduate courses. It is usually offered at an institution of higher education, such as a university.
(Undergraduate Degree) An award conferred by a college, university, or other postsecondary education as official recognition for the successful completion of a program of studies prior to the baccalaureate level.
(Undergraduate Degree) The education that occurs immediately following completion of secondary school or high school that leads to a bachelor’s degree.
2011 Undergraduate Commencement
Congratulations 2011 Heidelberg University graduates!
The 158th commencement ceremony took place over two days, with the Graduate ceremony taking place on Saturday, May 14, and the Undergraduates walked across the stage in Seiberling Gymnasium on Sunday, May 15.
The undergraduate commencement speaker was Richard F. Odell ’72. Jeffrey Meyers Jr., who received a degree in communication and theater arts, was the undergraduate student speaker.

* With 257 members, it was the fourth largest undergraduate class to graduate from Heidelberg University in the last 50 years
* The 344 graduates receiving bachelor's and master's degrees was the largest graduating class since the University was founded in 1850

At one oe the two universities in Ottawa. I was lazy and skipped Carleton, despite graduating there for one of my two undergraduate degrees. Oh well.
