Actor and baritone Robert Brand performs dramatic readings of the composers' letters to complement the music the day of the concert by Bach Aria Soloists at the Central Library.
The “Notes and Letters” theme includes Bach’s Sonata for Violin and Basso Continuo in E minor; Kreisler duos for violin and guitar, arranged by Bledsoe; baroque jewels by Purcell; Couperin and Rameau for harpsichord; and Manuel de Falla’s “Le Tombeau de Debussy” for guitar.
