1] I've been interested in photography since I was 15 years old, and am in the process of transitioning from film to digital. It isn't easy, but I admit that it is much less expensive when a shot doesn't work. I mostly do landscapes, sceanics, etc. Portraits and people pictures really aren't my forte.
2] I believe in the Earth and do believe that we are slowly destroying it and the pace is accelerating.
3] I believe that we should be free to do whatever we want as long as it isn't harmful to others. I do not like those that tell me what I should do for my own good.
4] I am a lover of summer, color, warmth, and life. If I were able I would hibernate with the bears through the interminable winter.
5] I feel that the five most valuable things in life are, love, friendship, honor, trust, and truth, while greed and extremism are the worst as most of human negativity springs from them.
6] I love to read and feel that all you would ever need to know can be found within the covers of some book. Censorship, in any of its myriad forms is anathema to me.
7] I've traveled quite a bit, and even lived in Australia for a couple of years. Travel is a most wondrous thing and when I do it I always try to avoid the tourist traps and try to see a place as if I were a resident. I love every minute spent behind the wheel of a car, on a train, or on a boat. I detest flying. The only good part of any flight is when the plane lands.....softly.
8] I love hot and spicy foods. I'll also seek out regional fare when visiting a place eschewing any fast food restaurants. Fast food is just that; meant to be eaten fast and not savored.
9] My wish for all: May the human spirit always soar free and high above the black clouds of oppression. May every individual always fight against anyone , or anything, that tries to chain that freedom.
