Reptile Tank Heaters

Pong (RIP) - 02
Pong was an albino leopard gecko and it was %100 fate that I ended up with this little guy.
We had been at the pet store buying crickets for Atari and there was 1 little white baby gecko in a tank with about 10 other normal looking babies. I had never seen anything like it and I was totally intrigued by him. I thought really hard about getting him but it just wasn't meant to be. I would have had to get another gecko set up and at the time I really didn't have the money for it.
The next day we were visiting a friend that works at another pet store and he told us that they were closing for good at the end of the week. Everything was on an amazing clearance sale. They had a reptile set up (tank and all) for $40. I told our friend that if I could still get the gecko I'd seen the day before, I'd be back.
2 hours later after a few bus rides across town and back, Pong was home where he belonged.
When we moved to our next apartment (where I live now) the ex unplugged his heater while he was being stored in her room temporarily. He was in her room for 2 weeks before everything seriously blew up and by that time he was already very sick. He died about a month after that.
Of all the pets I've had over the years he was my fave to shoot. Sometimes I really miss the little guy.
