Such a tired, tired, little girl
So, we are about half-way through this now. One shot down, one shot to go. Mainly things are okay, no direct adverse reactions to the medication (meaning her heart and lungs have been fine) but there's really no way around the pain of a shot right into the lumbar muscles...poor girl. The first day was pretty sad but now we've at least found the right balance of pain meds and she's just kinda sleeping through it... And the second shot, hopefully, will go a bit easier. Just wanted to update everyone and let you know June has no intention of missing out on mud season this year!

My Ducati 748 after a few sessions at NHMS.
Most motorcycles never get leaned over very far, and the results are two strips of unused rubber on either side of the tire that are commonly referred to as "chicken strips". Once the bike is leaned way over at speed, those wear away. Even better, if the tires are warm and power is put down aggressively in the turns (while leaned over), this great tire wear effect occurs. I love the little wrinkles and clumps that get created - the detail is fantastic. The effect is even better on softer race tires.
