i stayed up way too late again yesterday. i was up until about 6 in the morning before i was finally able to nod off. was i studying? why, no, i wasn't. I was watching "Inked." Not really a great show, kindov annoying how they stick to all the stereotypes, BUT i watched anyway. Then there was an episode of the Office, and an episode of Bones. Really, i don't watch that much TV, but when I do, i go on a bit of a binge... and Hulu is my facilitator.

BUT something good did come from all the episodes of Inked... I finally figured out what i want on my other side. I pondered a peacock feather for a while, but realized that, realistically, it would have to be HUGE to get all the detail i wanted into it without it running in a few years, and i'm just not willing to get one that big.

after that, i wanted a flying icarus with melting wings. problem: it would probably look like an Angel, and while angels are great, it's not what i want.

then i finally settled (and even drew) what i want. a red poppy with the roots, but completely upside down. i went into more detail while i messaged Telise, which i've been doing all day [and i know she'll probably at least skim this, HEY friend!] , and got what i consider the stamp of approval. But for this posts purposes, that'll do. i'm really excited about it, but since i promised myself I would wait for a year after my fox to get a new tattoo, and i promised boyfriend that i wouldn't get mine until he was ready to get his first, I won't be getting it for a while. oh yeah, and i dont have money. why was that last on my list?

then i did some MUCH needed cleaning in my kitchen, living room, and bathroom. laundry and a haircut are scheduled for tomorrow.

what am i doing for the rest of the night? well, watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, studying for micro, redoing my toenails, HOPEFULLY talking to boyfriend [which i haven't done yet today], then EARLY sleep.

these posts are long to make up for finals week posts, which i'm anticipating will be:

got up, took a final, cried, studied, ate, cried myself to sleep.

well, not really, but it's not that much of a stretch.

i woke up late, and was not able to go into my chem prof's studying hours when i would have liked. i'll message him to see what can be worked out. he's a very helpful prof, so i'm not TOO worried. and his tests aren't difficult to study for. i'll figure it out.

totally, totally uninspired shot. (several outtakes were either too uhm, offensive or too scary). so knees it is. we're watching bones, still, on hulu.com. all fun and games except for a few episodes where they declare all comic book geeks to be menaces to society and that childfree folks are incapable of caring as much as childful folks (don't get me started).
