Line Cook Training Manual
- A training manual is a book or booklet of instructions, designed to improve the quality of a performed task. Training manuals are widely used, including in business and the military.
- (Training Manuals) Can be handbooks, used for employees to reference routine jobs; they can be used for training amd make it easy for both trainer and trainees.
- In the hierarchy of the traditional commercial kitchen, line cooks work under the sous chef to turn out meals.
- 1} One who cooks and/or assembles food onto the plate. 2} One who works with the chef.
- A kitchen chef is a person who cooks professionally for other people. In a professional kitchen setting, the term is used only for the one person in charge of everyone else in the kitchen — the "executive chef."

The signaller (the photographer) annotates the TRB (Train register book*) at Swanwick Jn signalbox at the Midland Railway, Derbyshire, 26/01/11. I was attending the railway to a photographers charter, and couldn't resist a posed self portrait inbetween train shots.
* A TRB is used to record all occurrences at a manual signalbox, times that trains are offered, accepted, entering & out of section, Plus recording of possesions of the line being taken etc.
