And we are really happy about that. Oh, and also the fact that, you know, it works! Did you know these things were sooooo small? And I don't even have to plug it into the wall? OMG! You see, I only like DOWNgrades and the taking away of apps/programs/etc., so I approve of the smallness even though this technically falls into Alicia's no man's land of "upgrading" and "updating" and "computer changes."

My idea for when my external hard drive died was to cry, then go to Best Buy and ask for eight gazillion gigabytes of storage with approximately $30 to spend. Also to ask for proof that these little boxes work. Also, enough paper and photo paper so that I can print out EVERYTHING I have on my laptop. Twice. One stack will go in a high-security cave impervious to fire or disasters. And can you find me such a cave? Also for $30?

Okay, don't be too proud--I did not acquire this on my own, or find the funny double USB cable for it, or set it up on my own. I did however make progress in NOT watching it back up for all of the 4 hours it took (wtf computer?) and only had minor freak-outs about the number of files. Cuz I'm still pretty convinced I should have 100 files max, not 400,000. Safety Cone agrees, but then again, he can't really count so I think he was just being nice?
