Rue Tropical, Negril Jamaica

Rue Tropical, Negril Jamaica

In June 2006, my wife and I went to Jamaica for her grandmother's funeral (my wife was born and raised in Jamaica). Since there was no room for us to stay anywhere else, we stayed at the Rue Tropical in Negril when we were not in Grange Hill taking care of the funeral arrangements. (The plant in this picture is a "Traveler's Palm." Supposedly, the leaves would hold rainwater and thirsty traveler's could drink from the leaves. )
