Driveway Repair Tape

Serena & Jul
During our early trip to Pittsburgh.
Serena was Julie's roommate at the time. Julie is holding a pack of batteries, because I didn't have a tape deck in my car - and I had borrowed my brother's little boombox so we could listen to music on the way.
I loved that little car, it was a Chevy Sprint - the engine was a three-cylinder, made by Suzuki. Essentially a motorcycle engine. I used to get like 42 mpg around town, 60 on the highway. I almost had the thing paid off, but then I had to get a bunch of repairs on it, and so my parents took over the payments and got it all fixed.
They eventually let my sister take it with her when she was living in Georgia; normally, she's a very responsible person, but this particular time, she forgot to put the parking brake on - and the car travelled 50 yards down the driveway, across a road, and into a ditch.
My sister was living with her future in-laws, and Mr. Mooney had to pay someone to take the car away, because it had been totalled.
Wonderful guy that he is, that's not what he told my sister - he handed her a couple hundred bucks and said that's what he was able to get for it.
CAUTION! Sisterly love?
When Rachelle was home at Christmas with her new MKX Rebekah backed into her while it was parked in the driveway causing a lot of damage. It was a few tense moments at the time but since then we all have had a good laugh about it.
When Rachelle & Don came home this week they surrounded her repaired MKX with caution tape at the house when Rebekah was on her way home from work. Better safe than sorry! I appearantly have raised some real smart alecks :)
