Sink of Silver Bells - a Carbon Leaf bastardization. (186/365)
And we brush our TEETH in the sink
to make sure that our mouths don't stink.
We spit the toothPAAAAAAAASTE
in a very dramatic way.
We brush our TEETH in the sink
to make sure that our mouths don't stink.
We spit the toothPAAAAAAAASTE
in the SINK OF SILVER BELLS.
-Sink of Silver Bells (adapted from that lovely Carbon Leaf song 'Lake of Silver Bells' by one of my delightful campers. Ever since she heard the song on my ipod, she got crazy obsessed, and changed the song lyrics to be about something far more relevant to her present life. We would sing it every night during tooth brushing.
Another relevant story: Another one of my campers and I were brushing our teeth together when we turned to face each other; she started copying me, or I started copying her, but whatever happened started a tradition of mirror-teeth-brushing. So now that I've been home, it's strange to have the bathroom to myself. I keep expecting someone to come in and join me.
Silver Bell - Ship
My favorite silver bell features a two-sided galleon-style ship in relief. The ship handle is almost 2" high. The skirt has a slightly hammered texture. The bell has a clear and mellow tone. It is 4" high overall and has hallmarks on the side. A tag that came with it said "German."
