This actually happened when I was playing the demo for Crackdown. The only thing that was exaggerated was the number of guards, instead of two, there was probably around 80, and the final box where the agent says something hardcore. He actually does something much more hardcore: SAYS NOTHING AT ALL. It could be one of the most epic happenings in my video game career.

The whole story:

Mission: Kill evil gang lady (part of Los Muertos)

I start as an agent dude at the bottom of what looks to be a project or appt complex of some sort. In the first few floors I get the hang of the controls and climb steadily upward. As I get to the top floor my patience for carefully fighting the cronies has diminished, and I start just shooting them as I run by. Eventually I reach a small stair case that seems to lead to the boss, according to the mini map. I run full speed up the stairs and am surprised to find the lady standing right there, so without missing a beat I instinctively press the melee button, cause my agent to do a flying kick from a full sprint, hitting her square in the stomach and shooting her off the top of the building. Not remembering that the building is like 8 stories high, I think "She's getting away!" as she flies off the edge of the building. So, I leap off after her, shooting her the entire way down with an automatic rifle. I remember her dying before she hit the ground and thinking "Maybe I didn't need to jump off the edge..." Also, I think I might have landed on top of her, but I'm not sure.

Not Sure if this a good side of Ernie, but the man always has his hands in his pockets. The man thinks alot I will tell you that a man a few word and a lot of action. I don't hink he was ready for a photo yet. he that I am going to kill you look on. Ernie is good man and nice but don't piss him off. He has survived a 10 story fall off a building when a waterboy knocked him off a floor he was clearing on a site. Busted his face right above the lip bleeding and barely able to walk he run ran the 10 floor to kick the guys butt, smartly the guy fled the never to be seen again. That is toughness and of course the adreneline flowing The fact he survived is a miracle and I am glad he did. He did The first Implosion in Dallas in 1968, by sending the fidelity building to a pile of rubble. He been destroying buildings for 40 years. The man is a local legend to me anyway. Many don't really care about demo men. I hope to change that view. By the way The man to the left in the tropical shirt is Mark Williams. He got me in contact with Ernie I can't thank him enough.
