Shadows of plants are reflected on the cork floor of Pat Beffel and Al Meusel's home, built in 1956, which is still complete with its original cork flooring. Cork is an eco-friendly alternative to many flooring materials."It's warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It's great insulation," said Beffel of the cork flooring.
