Solar radiation management (SRM) projects are a type of geoengineering which seek to reflect sunlight and thus reduce global warming. They do not reduce greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere, and thus do not address problems such as ocean acidification caused by these gases.

Colt supplied Ellisse sunshade screens, Universal Louvre and EuroCO smoke ventilators to the building.
The horizontally mounted Ellisse sunshade blades wrap around the main entrance curtain walling, providing shading to the foyer areas, and are mounted to the facade steelwork using an almost hidden bracket detail.
Universal Louvre also features extensively on various locations through the building to provide natural ventilation to plant areas.

Around the perimeter of the building, at roof level, are sun shades outfitted with photovoltaic solar cells. Some of the power required to keep the building running will be supplied by the building itself.
