Blessings Week, Day Four: Contentment.

I am blessed to be content. A lot of people dwell on things that they'd rather have or do or be. Sure, I'd rather have my own house with walls I can paint and furniture that I owned before anyone else instead of a rental with paneled walls and hand-me-down furniture, but that isn't my life. I don't dwell on how I'd rather have a job editing, making more money and begreeted by a big ole dog that can knock me down. These are all things I'd like, but my life is perfect anyway. It is perfect because I said it is perfect and because I am happy. REALLY HAPPY!

With that said, this picture is awkward. I can't stop looking at my weird mouth! I feel like a bulldog or something. I'm not sure what it is but that face looks weird. Contentment is hard to portray physically.

I've discovered this Picnik thing for editing that Flickr has. I'd still much rather be using Fireworks or Photoshop, but this works for now.

Keep your fingers crossed that I can sleep like a normal person tonight. I have a big day tomorrow! I am going to work and then leaving work early to get a new license plate (which I am very sad about; I am extremely attached to my license plate number) and drivers license because I'm a Virginian now. Then, if I have time, I am going to see if someone can tame these eyebrows. AND THEN!!! I am meeting two of the most amazing people in the world for dinner and then to see the Dark Knight! AH!

Last night at sometime after 2:
Luke: I am not going to get any sleep.
Me: Why?
Luke: I feel like a little kid on CHRISTMAS!
Me: Why?
Luke: THE DARK KNIGHT!
Me: Oh...

I have never seen him so excited for anything. He proceeded to tell me about a review on tv and all kinds of stuff. He is SUPER excited. He got a free ticket to see it at midnight tonight so he is going with some of his friends from work and the guy that sells him comic books (haha! Okay, Rob is intensely awesome so I don't blame him).

I'm not doing anything special for day 200. I am too paranoid that my numbers are screwed up and I won't figure it out until the end of the year. Plus, I have OCD and can't interrupt a series.

My review of the $L10 furniture set I just got on SLX.

It's worth $l10.

I don't know why everyone was freaking out about this. The set I got which obviously was made to appeal to my "demographic" was poorly textured and had the weirdest and most awkward animations to go with it.
