Ženski vokalni ansambl Đurđevčice djeluje unutar KUD-a ''Petar Preradović'' koji se diči postojanjem i tradicijom još od kraja devetnaestoga stoljeća. Đurđevčice djeluju od 1998. godine, a dvije godine poslije izborile su nastup u završnoj večeri Pjesama Podravine i Podravlja u Pitomači i od tada su na tom festivalu postojano prisutne kao samostalni izvođači ili prateći vokali. Đurđevčice su 2005. pjevale, na Zlatnim žicama Slavonije, dječjem glazbenom festivalu Kukuriček, a 2006. su u koncertnoj dvorani Vatroslava Lisinskog pjevale Britvićevu i Potočnikovu pjesmu ''Nekaj grmi z Otrovanca''. Svojom vokalnom tehnikom vjerno čuvaju i prezentiraju hrvatsku tradicijsku kulturu rodnog kraja pa tako i cijele nam domovine. Repertoar čine tridesetak obrada narodnih napjeva. Posebno je atraktivan božićni program, a često izvode i autorske pjesme s već spomenutih festivala. Đurđevčice su ove godine 11 godina postojanja i djelovanja proslavile promocijom svog prvog albuma ‘’Pozvale so dekle dečke’’. Na albumu se nalaze izvorni napjevi đurđevačke Podravine obrađeni u a cappella izvedbi i uz pratnju tradicijskih glazbala Podravine (diplice, dude, okarina, dvojnice i cimbal). Ove godine su dobitnice javnog Priznanja Koprivničko-križevačke županije za uspjeh u radu i postignute zasluge na području očuvanja tradicionalnih napjeva te dočaravanju podravskih pjesama. Osnivač i voditelj ženskog vokalnog ansambla je profesorica Kristina Benko-Markovica. Biography: The female vocal ensemble „Đurđevčice“ is a part of the cultural-artistic society „Petar Preradović“, which prides itself with a tradition that existed since the end of the 19th century. „Đurđevčice“ were founded in 1998, and only 2 years later they have been selected to perform in the final night of „Pjesme Podravine i Podravlja“ Festival in Pitomača. Ever since that night they have been a constant presence at the aforementioned festival as performers or backup vocals. In 2005 they have sung at „Zlatne žice Slavonije“ Festival, „Kukuriček“ – children's music festival, and in 2006 they have performed a song „Nekaj grmi z Otrovanca“ by Britvić and Potočnik in Croatia's most famous concert hall – „Vatroslav Lisinski“. With their heartfelt singing they have enriched the songs from the album „Jendrin škrilak“, and they were given a special honour of performing and sharing the joy of singing along with: The Tamburica Orchestra of Croatia Radio Television (HRT), Marta Nikolin, Licitari, Ana Majstor, Nina Badrić, Arsen Dedić and other prominent Croatian artists. With their vocal technique „Đurđevčice“ are faithfully preserving and presenting Croatian tradition and culture, not just of their birth place, but of the entire country. Their repertoire is made up of 30 folk melodies. Their Christmas repertoire is especially well-known, and they often perform songs by various authors from the above-mentioned festivals.
