Thank you very much for both volumes of live Strawbs. I came to them "late"
through my long time enjoyment of all things Fairport Convention and Sandy
Denny. Owing to that enjoyment, I picked up "A Taste of Strawbs" when it came
out in 2006. I'm glad I did. Such enjoyable and well performed music. I'm setting
aside some considerable time to enjoy this set of BBC performances.
    Thanks again.

First disc - SUPERB! Rick Wakeman and Hudson-Ford were the key to sparking the music.

The description is laughable about the second disc, though. After Mick Weaver left Strawbs, they were on a downward spiral that should have ended much sooner than it did. The last decent Strawbs album was "Bursting At The Seams" - stuff after that was boring, and drawn-out. I'd skip this disc as it will just be a dull time-passer. Search out the first album, Dragonfly, Just A Collection of Antiques..., their best album FROM THE WITCHWOOD, Grave New World and Bursting at the Seams.
