I think you play the hand pretty well, you have 7 outs to make the full house, he's got 9 outs to the flush draw. In any case, you were ahead on the flop. PPPpppuussshh....
I would have smooth call preflop though. pocket 6's is not a great pair, unless you hit the flop hard. Most of the time you're not going to hit another of your card to make a set, it's fit or fold on the flop. I would bet out on the flop simply there's 2 spades on the flop. We're not going to let them draw to a flush cheaply, unless we have a boat.

@pokerdog .. I agree with you that I should have smooth called PF. .. I guess that I was more concerned with my tricky aggressive image at the time ;)
