These misunderstandings.
Following the euphoric sensation
In a lapdog fashion.

I thought (my mind becoming my torturer)
I felt (feelings dulling my outside)
I was wrong (falling for you turned into a headlong dive)
I know (too late for that now)

"So, what the heck, let's be friends."
(and the emptiness continues)

Her arms, a scarf around his neck.
Her smile, shining along his.
Push it back (the loathing).
Hold the face still (like marble).

That's right, look but do not touch.
You wish to strangle them both.
Why hesitate (why wait)?
Tear them apart (tear out their heart).

Their happiness seems true (wreck it).
Their love feels strong (wretched).
Their time (vengeance) is at hand...
