Hello good people of Kingdom of Loathing! We're currently on another writting session! I'm GrimReaperCRO/BadgerCRO and you're currently reading my KoL diary!  New seasonal challenge path rolled out!!!! It's called Trendy. It's so shic right? Here is current info about Trendy path Trendy Path Winter 2011 Challenge You can't use IoTM's, limited content stuff older than 1 year. Today i started new path run. I was unprepared. I just jumped into. I took Accordion Thief, cause it'll be easier to have more turns buff from single summoning. Many content became unavailable so i was a bit surprised. No hatrack,for scarecrow i must summon brickos or double ice. For Xenomorph i must summon tome for fam equipment. Decided to summon jack of familiar box and go with xeno. It's a volley + fairy. I predict it'll rise a lot in price, it's kinda perfect for new path,and it's really cheap (8.2mil atm in mall) so buy while it's still cheap! I was lucky enough to pick up pumkin. You can only use them this month in new path. I summoned double ice from shower, to get hat tomorrow. This path is without mp regen fams,so mp is problem. But one good thing is you have here plenty of meat. So you can buy MP for vital skills like ode to booze or leash + empathy. I was hoping to reach lvl 5 today,and to finish this run in 8-9 days. But i was really surprised. I managed to get day 1 liver. After getting liver i had 14 more turns. So i cleared 1 subarea in crypt and got dead guy watch  Even better,i spared 2 astral hot dogs, knob pasty and 2 knob coffes  I'm so happy,cause today was easiest and best day 1 ever! I managed to get best results today,with almost no micromanagement. I hate to click and play for 3 hrs. Today took me about 90mins only,and this is farest i came ever on day 1. Before ascending today,i finished nemesis quest as AT. I also bought 5 hobopolis skills, passed trough sea quest to get donho,and activated traveling trader AT skill. I earned AT nemesis trophy for making 7 recordings of 7 AT unique buffs.  Since those skills(Hobopolis skills) are very expensive (from 200k-1.8mil) and i have a lot of banked karma (1700 approx) decided to perm them(softcore). You can't use those skills before lvl 15,so there is no use in hardcore. So i don't need them HC permed. Decided to perm them softcore,so i could farm more efficient on Crimbo. Trade it's mostly dead. I was disapponted with Jick decision to make loot unavailable for distribution and sale after november 14th. I was lucky enough to sell Necbromancer staff + shorts for 5mil. I returned at least what i spend. Also i distributed myself a sorority box. CounterClockwise Watch was sold for 255mil. So far i'm on 1.757bil liquid meat. I have 5 mr.a's prepared for december,and 3 scarecrows as investment. So far i must buy 2 scarecrows,and 1 more mr.a to have my short term goal completed(this month investment + mr.a's for next month use and investment). Decided to buy 1 mr.a for december iotm (personal use) and 5 for december's iotm investment. Rumors are that dec iotm will be garden item. It's 99.9% for sure that it'll be better than previous,so decided to have 5 a's at current price.If garden item rolls out and if it'll be better than pumpkins, Mr.A's will be over 9mil for sure,and probably at 10mil each. My goal to have 2bil on 1st january won't be achieved. That is 99% for sure,but you never know. We'll see what will happen. I have 45 days to earn 267mil meat. Cheers! |

Hello KoL-ers! I haven't wrote for a week. Not many happened in that period. Being trader is not profitable as it used to be. I still make some profit,but that's far from what i did before,and most of it comes trough investments. I still can't sell my CCW. There is less demand atm,but i'm sure someone will buy it when MMG explodes. I got 2-3 defaulted loans lately,so i made some profit. Still have to sell pen pal kit,incredibly dense meat gem,CCW and infant sandworm. I was surprised with my last run. I almost made a fistcore hardcore 4dayer. I was 6 turns short. I doubt i'll do that again,cause i had 2 stat days and was lucky with rng. I wanted to made 4 dayer,but hopefully in future i'll be able to do it. I was playing aftercore for 2 days,preparing for 11/11/11 It's ridiculous,it's not even funny. We got 11 booze or 11 food, and one of 3 items random. It was nice. Decided to do fifth and last fistcore run. Day 1 was terrible. I didn't make to get liver of still + i lost from sleeping mariachi (WTF). Luckily i don't care about this run... Cya |

Hello everyone! Few things happened since i last wrote here. November is here, and Crimbo is at doors. So Haunted Sorority House disappeared on november 1st,and new iotm came out.  Stuffed-shirt scarecrow snob trying on your pairs of pants pleased with none of them. This little fellow is called fancypants scarecrow. It's kinda sane hatrack mechanic recycle, but instead hat it wears pants. Really?! A pantsless scarecrow... WOW! At first stight i was overjoyed by this little fellow. I never thought a scarecrow will be familiar in KoL. It's my second favorite fam after Astral Badger. I believe only thing that could be over these 2 familiars is little Grim Reaper familiar. Jick if you're reading this,i want Grim Reaper familiar for Crimbo under Crimbo tree  Scarecrow is not spaded yet,but imho (from what i see on wiki) it isn't more powerfull than hatrack. It's mybe equal,or slightly worse. I'll still think about invesment in this fam. For now most certain option is 5 scarecrows. Medium investment. As soon as HSH disappeared, i ascended in HC fist run to collect some karma. I had liver day 1 first time ever. And today i beat my personal record. I finished run in 5 days. I finally reach my goal. I could reach 4 or 3 dayer,but i don't like playing 5 hrs a day kol to be optimal. This is optimal for me. Today i'll ascend again under same terms as previous run. I'll be out in 9th novembar,and i'll have a day or 2 to "prepare" for something special might be happening in KoL on 11th Novembar 2011 (11/11/11). That's ridiculous. It's not even funny. We all know about Jick's obsession with numbers,especially eleven! In trade it's fine.. It's a bit dead,but i earn some meat with rentals or some rare trade. And yeah, currently i have CounterClockwise Watch for sale. Rarest of all Ultra rares,and very powerfull(10 extra adventures at rollover). If you're interested pm me ingame with offer  This watch, rather than marking the forward march of time (which is still marching on), makes time run backwards when it's wound. And instead of numbers around the dial, it just has twelve tiny pictures of monkeys on it. See? Twelve monkeys! See? Twelve monkeys! Having this will really help you get places on time! |

 Hey folks! Long time no write huh? Well after 2 weeks and almost finished new dungeon event i decided to wrote some stuff. About dungeon event. I collected all stuff in first 4 days. The last 2 days i did runs for profit. On Oct 21st i went to my girlfriends house and i stayed there for few days without KoL. We had anniversarry and it was really nice without KoL After few days, on oct 25th i returned home. Dungeon stuff was cheap so i decided to farm castle for some meat. On oct 28th i decided to do solo speedrun. Decided if staff fall i won't play dungeon anymore. It will be for sale (1-2 year period), like people are selling now expensive elf alley loot after almost a year.  And ofc,i didn't make to the leaderbord .. Screw you RNG! I was 4-5 turns short. And imagine that, staff did fall! I was happy... Decided to keep that... But as always something must went wrong. A clannie who is/was in hospital for few days after my absence come to KoL,and took outfit piece before consulting with me. I was pissed off. I can't keep only staff and book,it's meaningless with outfit piece missing. Decided to sell staff and book and try my luck with another dungeon,hoping i'll get staff before dungeon disappear. But bad luck was on me. I did 3 more dungeons. With total loss of 3 mil meat and 6 turns, 2 days and many hrs collecting bites etc. Today i did 4th dungeon,and finally staff fell. I'll save this to sell for a year or two. It will be nice profit. I'm currently on 1.62 bil meat. I didn't invest in new iotm,it's not usefull. I'll buy probably 1 as investment, to seat in DC for few years. I have 4 pen pal kits to sell. I probably won't be able to have 2 bil meat by new year,but screw that... Also this month trade is bad. New dungeon completely killed iotm and rares market transactions. Even advertising is meaningless. Cheers  |

Easiest way (but expensive) is to buy 20 silver shotgun shells,20 funhouse mirrors and 20 chainsaw chains. if you have that you boost your noncombat.. then you must raise ML for 3. first you can do in Dark in the Attic noncombat. Turn up the boombox(choice). If you can read turn down,then don't do that,that means somebody already raised ML. second you can do in Debasement. turn up the fog machine to raise ML.if you can read turn down,then don't do that,somebody already raised ML. third The unliving room noncombat. Close the windows to raise ML. If you have option open the windows,then don't do that cause somebody already raised ML. Killing monster is most important. There are few types,and they can be killed massive or 1 by 1. To kill 1 by 1 you just kill them. If you want to kill them massive,you must have special items. To kill massive ghost,just use ghost trap in fight. You can buy them(easy way) or acquire them in noncombat Dark in the Attic > Poke around in the broken appliances! To kill werewolfs you must have silver shotgun shell. You can buy them in mall or acquire them by melting. You must have Maxwell's silver hammer in invetory,then get noncombat Debasement > Prop Deportment > Examine the reloading bench. When you have silver shotgun shell(s) to kill massive werewolfs you must encounter noncombat Dark in The Attic > Investigate the banging. To kill skeletons you must have funhouse mirror(buy from mall) or acquire from noncombat Debasement > Check out the props room >Examine the mirror . When you have funhouse mirror in noncombat The unliving room choose Look in the closet and you'll massively kill skeletons. To kill zombies you must have chainsaw chain(buy from mall) or acquire from noncombat Debasement > Check out the props room > Examine the chainsaw . When you have chainsaw chain in noncombat The Unliving Room > Enter the dining room you massively kill zombies. Vampires are tricky. You can only kill them one by one. Massive killing is possible only once per player in current dungeon under condition. You must have current IoTM(plastic fangs) equipped and encounter noncombat Debasement > Investigate the coffins. IN that way you massively kill vampires. Remember,that can be done only once per player in current dungeon. If you're not buying items needed for massive killing,then most of the time you'll maneuver beetween colecting items and massive killings. After some time some monster will dissapear. For example you won't see ghost anymore. Then don't collect ghost traps anymore,focus on what's needed to kill the rest of monsters. After you kill all monsters, vampires will show up.. You must kill them 1 by 1 until they're all defeated. After that boss is coming. |

 Looks really awesome!!! Can't remember when i saw so cool img in kol. I must say reespect Jick for this! So this is picture of new "dungeon" halloween content. First you find in your clan dungeon A Pile of Haunted House Flyers! Then your clan leader pay 500k from clan coffer and then you have Directions to the haunted sorority house. Then that img leads to house i put up(img). There are few types of monsters to fight like werewolfs,vampires,zombies,skeletons and ghosts. It's not easy to survive there,especially if you're low level. Content is still being spaded so i can't tell you much about new dungeon. I played it only for 50 turns,cause that's all i've got left after breaking prism. Yep, i finished my last Bad Moon run today! hooooray! I was reallly lucky,some people went into ascensions 1 or 2 days before new content appeared. It was dead in last few days,hopefully this event will wake up players! Trade was dead... Wasn't able to make meat. I bought iotm today. Don't know will i invest in this. Mybe only 1 as investment. Also i decided to sell few more investment that rise a lot in price. Hopefully i'll be able to have 2 mil on january 1st! Cheers |

 This is comic con 2010 avatar, it's nice isn't it? I bought 2,for my main and multi. I'm star wars fan so it's must have for me! In trade nothing actually happened. It's really dead, few traders and loan sharks fight for every loan, cause there are only few a day. Something must happen,cause standing economy isn't good for anyone. My run is hard. I didn't know for Medicinal Herb's medicinal herbs  They're filling up your HP to maximum,and they cost 100meat only. They also fill up your spleen by 1,but that doesen't matter cause in BM you can't use spleen items. So cheap healing source. And i didn't know it.. Now you see how veterans like me don't know some banal stuff in Kingdom Mostly my problem is to survive in some areas. I reached lvl 10,so now i'll do some airship and castle. It won't be easy,but at least you can collect some nice restorers in airship. And i somehow managed to buy tongue of walrus. It'll help a lot. Only few more days and Bad Moon is over foreva!  |

 Hello KoL-ers. Another 2 days passed since i last wrote a post. Nothing happened actually,nothing interesting. I sold my 3 baio's. Still got Crown of Thrones to sell. I haven't had much traffic. Trade is slow. Really slow,and mmg as well. Crimbo tree is at 80% in our clan,thanks to Mondayne! We're planing to raid a hobopolis once in late november, to see if we can have some profit. It'll be experimental run. Everybody can join us, we're still recruiting people. So come and join Kolz Intergalactic Piratez! Mr.A's are under 9mil. Today about 8.8 mil. Nice price compared to madness at 10mil,but i'd rather see them at 8mil,or even 7 if possible. So Jesus if you're reading this, please hear my voice. My Bad Moon run sucks. Only good thing in this BM run is,that it's last BM run i'll do. Guide sucks,at least for Seal Clubber. It's hard to follow it, i don't have enough moxie to fight my way to margarita of steel,and farming limes sucks. only 7 limes in 43 turns in menagerie. So it'll be at least 15 day run,but i really don't care. Can't wait to se halloween event,and to do few fist runs with advantages of my new tome. Also today was discovered that when you use Stomp Box (pair of stomping boots equipment) you got some Dungeon of Doom potions. Which means,no need to do DoD for potions. Few turns shorter HC. Nieche. Not to mention that price of boots jumped instantly, for about 2mil. Can't wait they reach 20mil. Might be already on this crimbo. Then i'll sell half of my investment pack. CYA |

Hello again in 120 Minutes With GrimReaperCRO and Company. Don't have much inpiration to write. My Bad Moon run is going fine,but i'm not satisfied with RNG. I'm lvl 7 on day 4,but i haven't done half stuff from day 4 guide. Hopefully it will become better. I was studing hobopolis lately, cause i plan to do dungeoning with my clannies. It would be better if we had more members,so please people, join us! I downloaded and listen Jick's show from 3rd october. I was interested in 3 stuff. First, anything about new garden item. From how he sounded and what he said,next iotm is new garden item. I sold few days ago half of my pumpkin patch investment. If new garden item will be optimal,then they'll fall in price. That's why i sold half my investment. Half will stay until it become really expensive. That can be cause it'll be rare in some time,like snowcone tome, or cause it'll be better than next garden item,or future garden items. Second is about new dungeon. Jick mumbled something,and didn't say anything specific. I doubt new dungeon will be released in next 4-6 months. Third thing is about new Familiars of the Year. There won't be change this year. Jick will create new system which will include fams which cost 1 Mr.A instead 2. And there will be also new spleen familiar. I was fascinated with this img. It's so nice  Trade is not so good. I still can't sell my baio,and crown of thrones. Haven't had any recent resellings or anything. Mr.a's are around 9mil. It's not so good,i expected them at least at 8mil,or mybe even 7 cause new iotm is not in must have or medium category. Clip art tomes are near 12 mil which surprises me. I thought they'll fall to 8mil. We'll see how price will go in next few days. Fairy-worn boots is 12-13mil. Nice increase to original price,so if you don't have them buy them asap,this is still good price. I expect them at 20mil after crimbo. What else to say? Oh yeah, we managed to get another crimbough, donation by thesilendblade. So we're at 60% now. We're all waiting for helloween event. Hopefully it'll be good. Cya |

Hellou people! Today finally new iotm rolled out. I was a bit dissapointed it took so long,especially cause jick never appologized or anything for delay. At least he could say yesterday,sorry guys,tomorrow new iotm or anything. So new iotm is Make-Your-Own-Vampire-Fangs kit  When you open kit,and actually made fangs, you get this plastic vampire fangs  Type: accessory Cannot be traded or discarded Enchantment: Maximum HP/MP +30 All Attributes +15 Makes You Thirst For Blood So new stuff is, that once you use kit, you cannot sell it. This is first time evar that you can't sell or trade iotm accesorry. I haven't buy or try this iotm, cause i'm in Bad Moon run, but i'll definitly do that as soon as i break prism. It gives skill feed (hp and mp regen), some chat effects like saahk your blaahd instead suck your blood. There are obvious references on Twillight saga, Interview with vampire(movie) or Vampire the Masquerade(video game). Today i'm day 2 on my last bad moon run as Seal Clubber. Yesterday went so-so. I achieved lvl 4,but i lost 28 adventures in haiku dungeon,and i got only 1 non combat. Today i continued with haiku dungeon and guess what. Another 17 adventures until i cooked fairy graby baby. Dammned you RNG. Then i was additionaly screwed by this sado mazo motherfucker RNG. About 40 adventures in degrassi knoll,until i obtained empty meat tank arrrrgh. On my day 2 i'm already half day behind guide. Hopefully RNG will make me later easier,so i could follow guide normaly. Since new IoTM rolled out, mr.a's fall in price as was expected. New iotm is neat and all that,but it's not optimal or anything near that. Mr.a's fell to 9 mil. I wanted them to drop on 8 mil. But unforunatelly mmg-ers destroy our hopes and illusions,as always.. Deshwitat bought 100 of them and driven price again to 10 mil. I know 4 awesome iotms rolled out in a row and that helped mr.a's to be pricy. But i know most fault is on mmgers who like to own 100 or more mr.a's at time. They bought them up,then sell them 200k under. It's easy to habituate market on new prices,especially when you have good excuse,like "Tome is new iotm, everybody wanna invest,prices are high dude! Hey dude! You know what i mean dude! Seriously!!! " Some mmgers who like to own many a's. Deshwitat, Bombers, Sympathetic and few more i can't remember atm. It's hard to sell anything. I have few items for few days in store. New tome is awesome item. You can summon best nightcap drink(19 adventures), frosty halo (25 % item drop unarmed) which is awesome for hardcore fist runs. Also you can summon time halo, 5 adv at rollover. Then there are fam equipment, and few good food. Generally very nice iotm to have. I'm very satisfied how our clan is progresing. We have 5 members atm. Few more wouldn't mind, so we could chat most of the time. Trader Mondayne donated 1 Crimbough,so tree is at 40% now. 3 more to go,and we'll have fully completed clan in all terms. Thanks Mondayne for your generous donation.  Goal  Cheers |
