I'm pretty sure she will be mad at me for posting pics of the lovely decorations that her roomie put up for her to see when she returned in the evening. I didn't get a

Another view of our common room! It looks really bare without decorations, and putting a tapestry on our wall really did give our suite a homey touch. And we spelled out 601 (our room number) on the back wall in pinup girls. NYU does provide you with a two person couch that is fairly comfortable, but we also bought a big comfy chair at Bed, Bath, & Beyond for $15 and two little ottomans that have storage inside of them for $10 each. SO fun and useful. Also, TV trays are nice to have for extra table space. You can also see the dresser that we moved from Rachel & Tori's room, but since they didn't need it, we use it to store things like pots and pans, tupperware, etc. Also, we bought a little kitchen card at BB&B for our toaster, bread, and a drying rack on the bottom two shelves. Main thing to get for the common room: EXTRA TABLE SPACE/SEATING.
