A CLOSER LOOK AT THE AIR JORDAN 1 HI '85 "GEORGETOWN"

subota, 19.02.2022.

The 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend contributed to the rise in popularity of the Nike Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85. Making its return to the sneaker scene, the beloved silhouette arrives in a “Georgetown” colorway.

The kicks are predominantly covered in “College Navy,” which is found on the leather overlays, ankle flaps, Swooshes and Nike Air branding on the tongues. The toe boxes, quarter panels and elevated collar arrive in a splash of “Summit White,” while the lacing system is dressed in cream. A defining element of the pair is the pre-yellowed tongues, which add a retro feel to its collegiate design. The crisp white midsoles and the signature ball-and-wings emblem on the medial side of the heels round off the pair.

Although details of the launch are not confirmed, fans can expect to cop the pair at SNKRS for $200 USD and other retailers in the next few months.

The Air Jordan 6 Low “Atmosphere” Is Releasing In Full Kids’ Sizing

Playful “Atmosphere” is set to launch on the Air Jordan 1 to create a bubble gum-inspired retro, but it’s also appeared on an Air Jordan 6 Low exclusive to kids.

Set to release in January, the upcoming sneakers are expected to launch in Grade School, Pre-School and Toddler sizes, with the smallest pair surely forgoing any visible Air Max unit at the heel. Base construction across all offerings, however, have been crafted to feature the titular pink tone, while synthetic leather overlays indulge in a contrasting white color. Traction zones on the outsole deliver the “Atmosphere” hue in a semi-translucent style, which differs from the fluorescent rose-colored detailing that animates the midsole, lace toggle, Jumpman logo on the tongue and accenting strip on the sportscar-inspired heel tab.

Enjoy official images of the G.S. pair here below, and expect the low-top Jordan 6 to hit Nike.com on January 3rd.

An Air Jordan 7 “Citrus” Retro Expected On July 2nd

ponedjeljak, 07.02.2022.

Despite receiving a much more infrequent retro cycle than other silhouettes among Michael Jordan’s first 10 signature sneakers, the Air Jordan 7 has served as inspiration across other designs offered by NIKE, Inc. over the decades. As the model enters its 30th anniversary, however, it’s set to satisfy countless enthusiasts’ desire for a proper retro of some of its most iconic colorways, including 2006’s “Citrus” makeup.

Coupled with “Black” and “Varsity Red,” the aforementioned orange tone helped introduce non-Chicago-Bulls-inspired styles to #23’s seventh signature sneaker, which debuted in 1992. Pitch-dark colored nubuck set the stage for a mix of boldly-accented branding and midsole detailing, as well as the uncommon contrasting “Citrus” stitching found across all of the upper’s overlays. The neoprene-reminiscent mesh on the upcoming Air Jordan forgoes the multi-color and pattern tongues seen on colorways like the “Bordeaux” one, but branding on the spines and outsoles boast a series of geometric shapes covered in vibrant orange and red. Although Team Jumpman has been remastering handfuls of previously-seen offerings, it’s yet to be determined whether or not the “Citrus” release will follow a one-to-one build of its 16-year-old predecessor, or if it’ll fall short like last year’s Jordan 7 “Flint” retro, which featured different shades of the sneakers’ original colors.

Enjoy images of a pair from 2006 here below, as you wait for an official Nike SNKRS launch come the summer.
