Vintage Machine Gear from 1903 Ring - Industrial Steampunk numbers! Taken from a printing machine that ran in 1903.

This stunning ring is made from one of the most unusual parts I've found - a beautifully engineered gear from a printing press made in 1903. These gothic print wheels have a great design and are a sturdy steel. I decided to make a limited few rings with these and have layered on an unusual geometric hardware nut on top. It is part of my new Dieselpunk series - a industrial hot new fashion trend.

The print wheels have a dark sunken area which didn't come shiny despite a very good scrub. I have managed though to clean out the numbers and gave them a bit of a buffing. This removed some of the rough edges though these are still machine parts so will always be a bit sharp. I tested out a "trial" ring for myself and had no problems with the edges though.

I love the gear pattern in this ring. The unusual hardware nut on top is "set" with a nice little garnet bead. The bead is a very dark red colour and adds a bit of warmth and detail.

The print wheel is small - just 1.8cm across - that's 0.70inches.

Using Your MoshiMoshi Retro Handset

STEP 2. Plug the corresponding adapter to the 3.5mm jack end of your MoshiMoshi (optional, please check on the adapter list to see if your phone needs it).
STEP 3. You can now securely plug your Mosshi Moshi into the hands-free port of your mobile phone (please refer to your mobile phone's instruction manual to locate this port).
