Baby Room Ideas For Twins
15th February - Timmy cakes
I'd seen this recipe years ago (think it was a 2008 HPAD, can't remember whose, sorry) and bookmarked it for when Megan could eat dairy. This afternoon we had a few spare hours on our hands, and I was feeling brave, plus figured it would make a good cake shot for the Bliss awareness day today. As always, it wasn't as straightforward as it seemed, and ended up with me trying to make all the little Timmy faces whilst fending off both children from eating the icing. It was a good excuse though to invite over Helen and baby Ada, and Rebecca with twin babies Ellie and Mia to help me eat them.
Imagine if you were unable to touch or kiss your newborn baby. This is an ordeal thousands of families, whose child arrives too soon, too small or too sick, are forced to go through each year. But you can help. By baking and selling cupcakes, you’ll be raising funds to help support families during what can be a very lonely and frightening time, and to provide a brighter future for their babies.
Some facts and figures:
• There is a shortage of 1,150 nurses to care for the 70,000 babies in need of specialist hospital care in England. Less than a third of units have enough nurses to meet minimum standards.
• Neonatal units are working way above recommended occupancy levels meaning there is no safety net for peaks in the number of babies being admitted to units.
• Families of babies admitted to specialist hospital care face a crippling financial strain on top of the normal costs of having a new baby.
• Over half of parents face the prospect of not being able to stay near their baby in hospital due to a shortage of overnight rooms for families.
Cake A Difference is the annual fundraising initiative from Bliss, the special care baby charity. Bliss offers guidance and information at a critical time in families' lives, funds ground-breaking research and campaigns for babies to receive the best possible level of care regardless of when and where they are born. Cake A Difference 2011 takes place from 14-20 February 2011. For more ideas on how you can support Bliss contact email@example.com

Bad news for the twins (Prologue to Who's the Father)
Emily got scared after the fiasco in Hawaii that she ditched Duke at the airport and ran to her mother's house begging her to cancel the engagement. Her mother scorned her for it and stated, "You're pulling another Britney Spears act Emily! Why can't you be like your sister Zoey! She's in Korea taking care of her FOUR KIDS! WHY AREN'T YOU DOING THE SAME WITH YOURS!" her mother lectured.
Emily looked down at the floor disappointed in herself. She loved her sons very much, but had no idea what to do in taking care of them. "You figure out who the father is or I will take them away from you Emily. Do you UNDERSTAND ME!" her mother demanded. O_O "Yes...yes I understand." Emily muttered.
Soon afterwords, she hurried into the boys room to get her hugs of welcome. Both giggled, "MOMMY!" when they heard her come in. She hid her tears into their small shoulders and whispered, "Your my the only boys in my life that matter to mommy." she whispered.
Models: on the left is Adam, on the right is Avery. I've never had twins look so alike! So I'm totally going to figure out how to keep them this cute!
*Adam is the rebel boy but loves his younger brother.
*Avery is the sweetest toddler he'd give you his pacifier if you were sad. :(
