Mazinger - "1901"
This is an unusual depiction of Mazinger. Here he is presented as a sort of steampunk version called "Mazinger 1901."
This is the figure complete with stand and all accessories. The thumb of the right hand is broken but I have the whole piece and it just needs a tough of glue to repair.
Unfortunately, the figure has extremely loose joints and never has been able to stand and be posed correctly. It was a bit of work to get him upright for this photo.

Hidden Camera Woman
- A hidden camera is a still or video camera used to film people without their knowledge. The camera is "hidden" because it is either not visible to the subject being filmed, or is disguised as another object.
- (The Hidden Cameras) The Hidden Cameras are a Canadian indie pop band. Fronted by singer-songwriter Joel Gibb, the band consists of a varying roster of musicians who play what Gibb once described as "gay church folk music".
- An adult human female
- charwoman: a human female employed to do housework; "the char will clean the carpet"; "I have a woman who comes in four hours a day while I write"
- a female person who plays a significant role (wife or mistress or girlfriend) in the life of a particular man; "he was faithful to his woman"
- an adult female person (as opposed to a man); "the woman kept house while the man hunted"
- A wife, girlfriend, or lover
- A female worker or employee
I am a Woman.....
again.
I forgot what that felt like. Sorry to get personal, but I got my period this week after not having it for 2 years. It stunned me and took me off guard. It also took away that bloated feeling I have been feeling for months. I am ready to get my body back in shape, and feel like a woman again....so I bought a new dress and threw on a pair of shoes I bought when I was pregnant and never had the chance to wear. I wish I had somewhere to go.

Reflections of who I am
I can't hide who I am. I have to say I am not happy with my self being a size 16 but I do embrace who I am. Only I can change it.

DISPOSABLE CAMERA RECYCLING - CAMERA RECYCLING
DISPOSABLE CAMERA RECYCLING - NEW CANON WATERPROOF CAMERA 2011 - MINI SLR DIGITAL CAMERA.
Disposable Camera Recycling
- The disposable or single-use camera is a simple box camera sold with a roll of film installed, meant to be used once. Most use focus free lenses. Some are equipped with an integrated flash unit, and there are even waterproof versions for underwater photography.
- In Rochester, New York, George Eastman introduces a hand-held box camera for portable use. The camera is pre-loaded with 100 exposure film; after shooting the photographer returns the whole camera to the manufacturer for development and a reload.
- the act of processing used or abandoned materials for use in creating new products
- (recycle) cause to repeat a cycle
- Convert (waste) into reusable material
- Return (material) to a previous stage in a cyclic process
- Use again
- (recyclable) reclaimable: capable of being used again
Kodak Max HQ Disposable 35mm Camera
Manufactured in 2002 by the Eastman Kodak Company. A 27 exposure 35mm disposable camera with flash. What makes the Max HQ unique among single use cameras is that it has a glass Ektanar lens. Kodak went to great trouble to get photofinishers to return the cameras to them for recycling and they did reuse the glass lens (after checking it) and the flash components. Combining the glass lens with the modern 800 ISO film makes the camera a great general use indoor camera that was known for it’s sharp images.
Are disposable cameras collectable? First, they are a phenomena of the late 20th / early 21st century. The more proper term “Single Use Camera” and they brought photography to the truly occasional photographer. They became unique for the odd features and varieties. And their use is now engrained in our culture—who doesn’t put out several at their wedding reception for the guests to snap pictures of each other! And, by their specific nature, they are destroyed. So common today that they hang at every grocery checkout line, but one day they’ll be rare. You decide…

BEST COMPACT CAMERA HD VIDEO. CAMERA HD VIDEO
BEST COMPACT CAMERA HD VIDEO. OLYMPUS FE 12MP DIGITAL CAMERA.
Best Compact Camera Hd Video
- camera designed to allow easy portability or concealment.
- A point-and-shoot camera, also called a compact camera, is a still camera designed primarily for simple operation . Most use focus free lenses or autofocus for focusing, automatic systems for setting the exposure options, and have flash units built in.
- The general term for small, light cameras designed for convenience. While they do not offer interchangeable lenses, they are perfectly usable for snapshots, and some do employ high-performance optics. Ideal for travel or “visual notebook” applications.
- High-definition video or HD video refers to any video system of higher resolution than standard-definition (SD) video, and most commonly involves display resolutions of 1,280×720 pixels (720p) or 1,920×1,080 pixels (1080i/1080p).
- High-definition video, currently the highest quality version of digital video. There is some debate about exactly what constitutes high-definition.
- High Definition Television (HDTV) has taken over the television industry and is now arriving in wedding videos. HDTV offers higher resolution, and thus greater detail in every shot. HDTV footage is 5x clearer than VHS, almost 3x clearer than DVD.

New Diana Lenses
I had the adaptor, not realizing I had to get the lens seperately (d'oh!), and finally bought the lenses I wanted without taking apart my actual Diana camera.
I've had these forever but hesitant to play with them- they looked tricky and read poor reviews on them. I'm excited to test them out finally.
I'M GONNA WASH THAT MAN RIGHT OUTTA MY HAIR
LOL Do you remember when Diana Ross sang this song on the motown review and she had that GIMONGOUS wig on with butterflies in it?
I let Candace and Empress have free reign with the camera and they produced some AMAZING images ..
Here we have Empress as captured by Candace ..

Fleeing Kosovo
2000 Pulitzer Prize, Feature Photography, Carol Guzy, Lucian Perkins and Michael Williamson
By the thousands, they come. Ragged, weary, fleeing the Serbs. A tidal wave of ethnic Albanians trying to cross from Kosovo into Macedonia and Albania. But there are no welcome signs.
Aid workers set up primitive tent camps. There is little food, water and few medical supplies. The refugees, mostly women, children and the elderly, wait in limbo.
Washington Post photographers Carol Guzy, Michael Williamson and Lucian Perkins spend two months in the camps. Interpreters help them understand the plight and despair. "No still picture," Guzy says, "could possibly convey their tears and pain or the hell from which they had come." Yet the photographers capture it as best they can.
Guzy crosses the border at Morina with refugees headed for a transit camp in Kukcs, Albania. Stripped of their possessions, they wait to get in. On either side of the camp fence, members of the Shala family unite. They pass 2-year-old Akim Shala through the fence. Guzys camera captures the baby sliding through the barbed wire into the hands of his loving grandparents.
Perkins and an estimated 70,000 refugees are near Macedonia in a no mans land called Blace. There is no shelter. Disease is spreading. Families try to get out. But border guards allow only a trickle of refugees to leave. Cameras swinging from his neck, Perkins hides behind a truck and slips past camp guards. He photographs sorrow and desperation.
Williamson is in Velika Krusa, Kosovo, covering the havoc wrought by Serbs. In a burned-out house, Qamil Duraku sits on a bucket, looks up and says, "You’re here. You finally came." The man thinks the photographer is a war crimes investigator there to document the deaths of his cousins. In each hand he holds pieces of his relatives, body parts the Serbs had torched. He cries, "Why did they do this? Why?" Williamson tries to comfort Duraku. He can’t. He takes his photograph.
Elián
2001 Pulitzer Prize, Spot News Photography, Alan Diaz, Associated Press
It's dawn in Miami's Little Havana. Photographers and reporters doze on lawn chairs. Demonstrators mill about after in all-night vigil. Inside the house, a family lawyer negotiates by phone with U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno. On the sofa sleeps 6-year-old Elian Gonzalez.
Associated Press photographer Alan Diaz stands at the backyard fence. For five months from this spot. Diaz has covered the international custody war between the child's cousins in Miami and father in Cuba. Diaz has lived in Cuba and speaks Spanish. The relatives let him take pictures. But he must stay outside the fence. And he must never, ever speak to Elian.
At 5 a.m. on April 22. 2000, rumors swirl: a temporary accord may allow a visit with the boys lather. The rumors prove untrue. All at once Diaz hears heavy boots stampede the backyard. He grabs his camera, jumps the fence. A family friend lets him in the front door and locks it. Federal agents smash through the house. Diaz sees the relatives scream, mouths moving but bodies frozen.
"Where's the boy?" Diaz shouts. Someone shoves him into the bedroom. Donato Dalrymple, who plucked Elian from the sea, is trying to hide the boy. "What's happening?" Elian asks. "What's happening?" For the first time, Diaz speaks to Elian, tries to calm him down. Then agents kick open the door. One points a 9 mm submachine gun. Diaz takes the picture: a terrified child being seized by the federal government. The lightning move by federal agents takes just 154 seconds.
Even today, long after the court rulings have sent Elian back to Cuba with his father, one thing remains a mystery to photographer Diaz. He can’t figure out how he jumped the fence. "It may have been my pulsing adrenaline." he says. "But then again, I guess it was part of what I always do—I shoot pictures."

I really like how it is made, very detailed and true to the original design. It even comes with pillows and a carpet which is nice when you do not have a large fund of diorama pieces :)
And, I must mention how much I like this Kyori, especially when she wears pink ;) Se just photographs sooooo well!

self-portrait
I have a great love and a passion for the Polaroid medium... I always have and I always will.
I remember my first Polaroid camera. It was mainly used to take candid shots of my friends and I. Then in the past year I got into Polaroids obsessively. It all started with my first attempt and experience with Polaroid transfers using a Vivitar Slide Printer. Once I tried that out I began exploring other experimental processes using the Polaroid system.

Day 011: "The Most Important Meal of the Day"
I don't usually eat breakfast even though I know it's the most important meal of the day. I'm not even a morning person. But since I now have to wake up early almost everyday for school, I decided that I should put my coffee making skills as well as my (really awesome) camera lens mug! And what better way to start your day than having a bowl of oatmeal with bananas? I know oatmeal is considered "old people food" but I just love oatmeal. And oh yeah, there's my sandwich-box in the background for an early lunch. I love that sandwich-box.

This telephoto zoom lens is designed with Canon's Optical Image Stabilizer technology while retaining compactness and lightness, in response to demands of photographers. This high zoom ratio lens is equivalent to a focal length of 88-400mm in the 35mm format (when used on Canon EOS cameras compatible with EF-S lenses), and the image stabilizer effect equivalent to a shutter speed about 4 stops faster than the same size lens without Image Stabilizer. In other words, if the slowest shutter speed you could formerly hold a 250mm lens steadily was 1/250th of a second, with Canon's 4-stop stabilization correction, you could hand-hold at shutter speeds as slow as 1/15th of a second. It also uses a UD-glass lens element to correct chromatic aberration for excellent image quality throughout the zoom range. This new EF-S telephoto lens with great features delivers excellent performance at an affordable price for all photographers.
Incorporating Canon's Optical Image Stabilizer technology, this Canon 55-250mm telephoto zoom lens captures long distance, low-light shots far better than many comparable lenses, helping you photograph the far-off action of athletes or zoom in for an intimate portrait with a blurred background. The high-zoom-ratio lens is equivalent to a focal length of 88-400mm in the 35mm format (when used on Canon EOS cameras compatible with EF-S lenses). More significantly, the image stabilizer effect creates an equivalent shutter speed of roughly four stops faster than the same size lens without an image stabilizer. In other words, if the slowest shutter speed you can hold a 250mm lens steadily is normally 1/250th of a second, this Canon lens will let you hand-hold shutter speeds as slow as 1/15th of a second. The lens also boasts a UD-glass lens element to correct chromatic aberration to create excellent image quality throughout the zoom range. Delivering an excellent performance at an affordable price for all photographers, the 55-250mm lens carries a one-year warranty. Specifications
Focal length: 55-250mm Maximum aperture: f/4 to f/5.6 Lens construction: 12 elements in 10 groups, including one UD-glass element Diagonal angle of view: 27 degrees (at 50 feet) to 6 degrees (at 15 feet), with APS-C image sensors Focus adjustment: DC motor, gear-driven (front focusing design) Closest focusing distance: 3.6 feet (0.31x maximum close-up magnification) Filter size: 58mm Dimensions: 2.8 inches in diameter and 4.3 inches long Weight: 13.8 ounces Warranty: 1 year

My new mobile phone
Unlike any other phone I've ever used before, and in Japanese only. Which makes the most mundane of tasks an interesting challenge. This thing is great though, I have 12 channels of digital TV which is some approximation of a High Def format. The camera is 3.2 mega pixels making it perfect for grabbing quick shots when I don't have my S5200 with me.
It has everything you'd expect from a normal cellphone minus SMS messaging which just doesn't seem to exst in Japan. Instead their is an emal client which handles al of your text massaging needs.
The coolest feature has to be the built in GPS and mapping software which gives you more details than you can imagine when walking around built up areas. Increibly useful for a forlorn looking foreigner in Tenjin, the best tactic tends to be to had the phone over for a friendly local to examine before pointing me off in the right direction.
All in all, a sweet phone, and one which only cost me about Ł70 with a 12 month contract.

Flickred
Censrship:
We are the generation that will have to face one of the biggest problems for a democracy: Where´s the limit between the acceptable security and the hardly earned freedorms?
Dwight D. Eisenhower once said: “A people that values its priviledges above its principles soon loses both”
So: What is best? Allow everything including nudty, to protect our freedorm of expression, which costed lots of lives in the past, or protect our minds and our kids from disgusting content?
Maybe, the most of us will agree that showing a 6 years old girl been raped it´s definitively not art, but, even in the case that someone said it is, thats ilegal, so that can be removed from any site on the web.
But, would that be an abuse?
We, as every animal, born nude. Our parents made us having sex. Those are parts of our body as any others (well, I have some extra affection to that part of me, but that´s my case...). Arms are pornography? Feet? There´s people that get hot with feet... So lets ban photos containg feet because they can be used for Is a penis of an adult man into the vagina of an adult woman art? I don´t think so, but I wouldn´t aprove if somebody banned it.
Flickr should be a free site. There are millions of free porno webs in the internet where people can seek for those things. There´s no need of wasting a place like flickr with censorship just because some people abuse the limits of the freedorm of expression.
sexual purposes.
Let´s get serious.
There are thounds of masterpieces of art that show nudity. And I´m just talking about nudity because that´s the theme of the photo. Things such as deleting people´s accounts, preventing them from commenting, selling our democratic convictions just to get into the Chinese maket (and I don´t care if Google did it first) or stuff like that are just dreadful.
We like our freedorms. We like our rights that protect us from real abuse. We want magazines to write and read the opinions of other people, we want voting, to choose our representants, etc.
These are our principles. Sometimes it might looks easier to look in other direction while some of these principles are harassed, like what happened in many parts of the world after 9-11. Yes, we feel a little safer, but things like the US Patriot Act (I mention this one because it´ll be known be most of the people) or others, like the CCTV Cameras that “protect” us, make our world a little closer to Orwell´s nightmare (1984). That´s when we change our principles for priviledges. Freedorm for security, for tranquility. Until we wake up a day and we see that everything´s gone to the toilet and somebody you can´t complain to it´s flushing it.
So, don´t let the consorship get into a place like this. That´s supposed to be a place for photgraphers, to show their work for free, talk/write to other photographers and above all, learn and shared. We don´t get paid for this, except the satisfaction of seeing our work seen by others, commented, faved. Shown.
That´s the kind of place that censorship changes forever.
If it´s not ilegal, let it be.
Don´t allow censorship, flickr-guys.
Please.
Remember Eisenhower: “A people that values its priviledges above its principles soon loses both”
... soon loses both...

WHERE TO SELL USED CAMERA : WHERE TO SELL
Where to sell used camera : Free slr camera : Ptz camera outdoor.
Where To Sell Used Camera
- A camera is a device that records/stores images. These images may be still photographs or moving images such as videos or movies. The term camera comes from the camera obscura (Latin for "dark chamber"), an early mechanism for projecting images. The modern camera evolved from the camera obscura.
- A device for recording visual images in the form of photographs, movie film, or video signals
- equipment for taking photographs (usually consisting of a lightproof box with a lens at one end and light-sensitive film at the other)
- television camera: television equipment consisting of a lens system that focuses an image on a photosensitive mosaic that is scanned by an electron beam
- exchange or deliver for money or its equivalent; "He sold his house in January"; "She sells her body to survive and support her drug habit"
- the activity of persuading someone to buy; "it was a hard sell"
- be sold at a certain price or in a certain way; "These books sell like hot cakes"
- Have a stock of (something) available for sale
- Give or hand over (something) in exchange for money
- (of a thing) Be purchased
I sometimes want to live in a cardboard box
Why do they have to write things on the rim of the lens?
"Optical Lens". Good one, just in case we think it's actually a "Sonic Lens". No no, silly me, it could be an "Edible Lens."
"Olympus Wide Zoom Lens". Like it's going to be a sodding Canon lens on an Olympus camera? Even if it were a Canon lens, and it weren't a zoom but instead a 60mm fixed, don't you think you'd KNOW by now having spent good dollar on the camera in the shop?
And why the HELL are we subjected to constant talking through speakers on the underground? If you don't know where you are going on the tube, there are maps (if you were stupid enough not to check your journey before you actually got on a train).
Don't give me the 'blind people' argument. If you are blind, then you've done a bloody impressive job getting yourself onto the right underground train, navigating the unfriendly escalators into the various miserable abysses of our public transport in the first place; I think you'd manage the relatively simple task of COUNTING stops, don't you?
What would we do if there weren't announcements? We'd all be murdered in our beds wouldn't we? How would we know the Charing Cross branch of the Misery Line was closed for engineering works?! Oh no!
How would we know? Well, we would start checking things before our journey. Yes we would, because we would have to. We would think to ourselves "it's a good idea to look at this very clearly written information board" before we embark upon our journey.
Simple. If you need information specific to you, go get it yourself. Don't make the whole bloody world suffer an onslaught of information that probably doesn't affect them. They will only be more confused in the long run, having to strain their ears every time something is announced in a shitty voice you can barely hear anyway.
I hate visual and auditory pollution. Life would be so damned nice if I could interact with the world without it. If I could walk down the tomatoes aisle in Tesco without bloody pictures of tomatoes everywhere. I don't need to see your crap photography of tomatoes when I have the real thing right there on the shelves. Why not just put up the word in nice bold text, nice and high above the aisle so they could be located from the other side of the shop? Perhaps a simple black font, with a pure white background. No tomato photos. I don't mind if you use all-caps. Like this perhaps:
TOMATOES
No need to say "tomatoes here" or "buy tomatoes here" because it's implicit isn't it, really?
I have successfully eliminated advertisements from my life. I use adblock online, I have thrown my television out (I lie - never had one), I don't go anywhere where I am subjected to commercial radio (I try not to walk in the streets where it may be playing), and I try not to read the awful newspapers whose primary reason for existing is to sell me things. And so it greatly upsets me when Tesco play videos about slimming products, the speakers are on the same level as my ears when I am looking at parsnips or avocados.
Life would be wonderful without it all. Failing that I shall continue to do what I normally do, which is to not bother going out. It's pointless isn't it? Unless you need something specifically, it's pointless. There's too much mess outside.
Where are the corporate comics of today?
Here’s another sign that the age of the comic book is over.
Back in the day there were dozens of companies that used comics as a way to promote their wears, or business, or point of view, or zinc and I don’t know what. and I don’t just mean those umpty - bumpty gazillion issues of the “Adventures of Big Boy,” with it’s third rate art and no sub-text to the story what-so-ever!
I’m talking people like `Big Bread,’ who hired Walt Kelly of Pogo fame to do their comic, or Fram Motors who got THE man himself Will Eisner to do their comic, and note the price for that thing 15 cents!
I mean it's 1953, on the stands you will find Tales from the Crypt, the golden age Superman and Batman, the short lived commie fighting new version of Captain America, heck even Rex the Wonder Dog and all for only 10 cents! and yet Fram is pretty sure kids will be willing spend that and a another nickel besides for Hoods Up? Yowser!
And then were was Camera Comics, (don’t try this at home kids! What was this the Mtv Jackass gang of Earth 2?) produced by the "U. S. Camera Publishing Corporation” itself to promote photography among youngsters, and not just with articles about how to make your own darkroom or a time delay gadget for a camera, dull whitewashed self-serving illustrated stories about the pioneers of photography, and photo spreads (though it did have that) in it’s 36 pages you found action heroes like Army Air Corp photog The Grey Comet, Linda Lens girl-reporter who used her camera as a blunt instrument to take out Nazi and thugs as often as she used it to take pictures, & Kid Click (the idiot on the cover) and others.
Oh yeah… and there was Buster Brown comics which you could only get at the places that sold those shoes… they had nice art.
Where are the corporate comics of today?
Why no special additions of Y: The Last Man from Victoria’s Secrets?
Too Much Coffee Man Comics from Starbucks? (okay I get the reason for that, but you know what I mean.)
Where is Mac and/or P.C. Comics?
It’s the end I tell ya’ the end of comics!

On my way to El Matador Beach on the Malibu area, I stopped by Zuma Beach. Honestly, this picture has no filter or effect at all it just that I forgot to adjust the white balance on the camera and came out like this but it was pretty good. Photo by Rafael Amado Deras ©
