I've always loved over-stuffed, over-sized furniture. Big couches I can snuggle into a corner of, big chairs that I can share with one or more of my wolfhounds. Furniture I can put my feet on, my kids can jump, that looks inviting smothered in pillows, or completely bare. Most of all, I love rich, warm earthtones, comfy fabrics, and solid woods. With that in mind, I've decided to share my personal furniture with you!

wow, could have cleaned up the table/desk a little before this shot. oh well. guess what we're seeing most here is a big ole' blank wall. this big wall will have a hidden staircase climbing to the upper floor after the reno, but this surface is and will continue to serve its hidden guilty pleasure purpose which is to project tv and film onto its surface. no room for a tv to sit around and look ugly in this open space, but at night, when the lights are down, this wall becomes a guerilla drive-in with a 4ft x 5ft screen.
let's just say the neighbourhood kids are digging playing the wii in this room and wish the furniture could be moved out permanently.
