I believe in getting as much use out of the things that surround us as we can - why buy two things when one thing will do two necessary jobs, thing how much storage space you can save. This is the third time in two weeks I have used the windows on my bathroom door in photographs, so as well as serving its original purpose these windows are my photographic filter.
By the way, you probebly cannot see the linen jacket that I was wearing in yesterday's picture, I forgot it would not be visible. Oh well.

The next time I go out on the water I need to remember to bring a polarizing filter to help cut down on glare from the water. I like this view because the whale spy hopped in the shadow of the boat so there was minimal glare. That is why you can see down into the water so well. The fact that the channel was as flat as a mirror also helped. I would love to get a good shot of a humpback eye.
