My digital camera has a built-in flash. Why do I need another? br>Built-in flashes are only effective to 8-10ft or less. This high power flash greatly extends the range!
The built in flash units of digital cameras are on average effective to only about 8-10 feet, and that's when your lens is at its widest-angle setting . When you want to zoom in on the action (towards the telephoto end of your zoom range) you'll find that your built in flash does exactly opposite of what you want, and its range is reduced! So, when you want to use your camera's telephoto capability that you paid for, but also require the built in flash, your pictures come out dark or, even worse!

I put together a make-shift macro ring-light today using a foil-bowl, tape, white mache' paper, my FL-36R flash, my E30 Olympus and the 12-60mm f/2.8-4 SWD & EX25 extension tubes. I set it all up on two tripods, the camera on one, and the flash next to it on another, so I didn't have to hold either one. I then used my remote control cable and just put the camera on macro mode, live view and turned the screen around so I could see it. Many tries later, this is what I came up with.

I got this ring on ebay for $34 bucks!. It is from Scottland, 1930's, art deco "gypsy" set garnets and 14 carat gold.

Up for sale is this unique garnet engagement ring. The ring is set with a natural AAA red garnet and accented with fine white diamonds. The ring is made of solid 14k yellow gold. The ring is available in all sizes including 1/2 and 1/4 sizes. The sizing is free of charge. This was pierced with a pre-bent needle held in a clamp, followed through with a captive bead ring. This had to be done a second time, when the first one rejected.
The second one only lasted a few months before it got rejected as well, surfacing toward the front. The ring tended to look nasty, with a mucus bubble on it, and it was cleaned for this picture. I also had trouble with it flipping forward, up on the back of my tongue, so I had to literally swallow it down into a more comfortable position. I do not have a gag reflex.

this is the one bike that, no matter how much iteration, i will always love to death. i transplanted my old spicer ti fork onto it yesterday, and gave it a standard side-pull rim brake. formerly it had a wound-up and a paul canti brake -- a terrible combination (the paul was too strong and caused the wound-up to oscillate and squeal. the brake ceased to work under those conditions, to boot.)

it now weighs in at 16.0lb flat, despite the overbuilt frame, wheels and brooks. all the components will likely stay as i'm now commuting daily by bike and need the durability.

“When the ring master turns the lights out, and spins the baton over his head, I want to see the rings of Saturn,” was how designer Adam Tihany envisioned the redesign for New York’s legendary, five-star restaurant, Le Cirque. The challenge however was that it needed to be done without having any permanent effect on the landmarked Villard House in which it was to be located. Jaroff Design proposed the elliptical stainless steel and neon rings as an integrated lighting solution that would be supported by free-standing torches. The torches also anchor the bar and are topped by acrylic flames. The bar itself was designed to be completely self-sufficient and movable, with its own internal plumbing and water basin since no pipes could be run to it. In addition to the custom metal fabrication for the rings, torches and illuminated, fiber-optic bar, we designed a sculptural clock to playfully represent the passage of time by crossing the room on a cable system – the ultimate tight-rope walker for this conceptual circus. In a very different style, Mison Concepts, created an exact historical replica of the bronze entry doors of the Villard House, in accordance with landmark requirements.

I have this ring binder since I was about 11 years old! It contains my English homework that my teacher of English lessons used to call "Playtime": she told that we could fill the pages with pictures, drawings, newspaper columns, colors and any decorations we wanted to use. I had a lot of fun everytime our teacher told us to use our "Playtime" combined with our homeworks. ^_^ The pages inside are alternating pale blue and pale pink.

There are the dog and the cat of the Care Bears Cousins on the cover, the same I had bought in plush version many years later... I guess I loved these two! But while the dog is blue both in the illustrated and in the plush version, the cat is orange in the illustration and aqua green in the plush version.
I am sure I have another of this in pink, with the Care Bears on the cover, somewhere in my home.

I study way too many subjects to carry around an exercise book for each subject. I have 4 full ring binders at home which are all about the past two years. They are so convenient, especially for taking notes, and they weigh less. I finally am on a break, no studying for a few weeks, but I always love to buy stationery items. I love this new Hello Kitty school collection, the insides of Sanrio's ring binders are always so kawaii! So many cute little drawings. And on the cover and the back the borders of Kitty's figure are made of a soft tissue. Softish! *-*
