Evo stigo nam i sedmi mjesec...Neki dan vadim auto osiguranje i tip mi napravi da mi traje 6 mjeseci, kad ono ja pogledam kada istice i pise 12/26 i tu me pukne da smo spizdili vec 6 mjeseci ove nam 007?
Grizem se ko konj sto nisam isao gledati Paul McCartneya prije 2 dana BESPLATNO u jedan obliznji cd shop, bio je suprise gig u srijedu navece za 350 ljudi, ko prvi dode. Shop je jedno 10 minuta od mene i mislim se idem 100% (iako mislim da je Paul sellout big time, ali ipak on je freaking Macca) kad se pocnje rulja (citaj babci) okupljati vec u ponedeljak navecer i cekati u redu. Mislim se ja volim Paula (iako je sellout) ali ne bas tolko da spavam na ulici dvije noci da ga vidim. Ista stvar kao s dolje navedenim White Stripesima, bilo je 350 ljudi sigurno vec u utorak ujutro, ali kad sam ja saznao za taj suprise gig, mogao sam biti medu prvih 150 garantirano! Steta, iako mi se nimalo ne svida novi album i iako on prodaje svoj cd za starbucks, iako je sellout,(negdje prije sam se vec tome na ovom blogu sprdao), ali on je i dalje Paul freaking Beatle.
Dakle besplatni Stripesi i tjedan poslje Paul, not bad. Navodno je svirao duze od Peppersa u Srbiji i to besple, svaka cast...
By the Way cujem da koncert bas i nije bio neki u Srbiji, eh he, reko sam vam ja lijepo da oni nisu bas great live....vidis da ste pazljivije citali mogli ste znati...sta ces...Nadam se da ste se ipak zabavili...

Evo prosao jos jedan vikend...dok trepnem stici ce i novi...
Zavrsila NBA sezona...uskoro Wimbledon dolazi...sweet...
Jedva cekam sutra da izadu novi White Stripesi...sviraju free show u bivsem Tower Recordsu, i prvih 200 ljudi koji kupe cd dobiti ce ulaznicu, i mislim se ja mozda bi mogao svratiti u ponedjeljak u ponoc da kupim cd i da ih gledam u petak, i prodemo Jordan i ja slucajno u nedjelju kraj storea, kad jedno 20ak ljudi kampira, vec u nedjelju popodne, cekaju ponoc u ponedjeljak!!!! to se zovu fanovi, tak da nema sanse da budem u prvih 200...necu ni pokusavati...Adam me nagovara da ih idem gledati u Berkley u Septembru, moram vidjeti sa vremenom i lovom.
U utorak sasvim nenadano zavrsio sam na LCD Soundsystem koncertu i bilo je odlicno. Adam nabavio karte jedno sat vremena prije koncerta i kaze idemo...posto su oni bili jedni od najboljih na Coachelli i posto smo vise od pola koncerta propustili zbog Peppersa, bilo mi je drago ih ponovno gledati pogotovo u takom malom prostoru (isti teatar gdje sam gledao Stefanovski-Tadic koncert prije nekih godinu dana). Na koncertu sam vidio Rick Rubina, kojeg sam radeci u Virginu vidio barem jedno 20 puta i mislio sam se oce li me prepoznati
Rulja je bila luda i rasplesana, pogotovo tjekom Daft Punk Is Playing At My House i North American Scum.
Prosli vikend je bio rodendan od Jordan pa smo isli u jedan Marokanski restoran i bilo ludo, belly dancing, kebabi, konobari u crvenim kapicama, sve autenticno...naravno hranu nitko nije prepoznao pa su me sve njene prijateljice gledale da im objasnjavam sta je sta...kao ono ja stranac pa moram znati sta je piletina sa cimetom i cous cous..he he

Making a buck out of Little Ethiopia and Cambodia Town
“CAMBODIAN,” says Richer San, waving his arm towards a car-repair shop. Driving down Anaheim Street, he eagerly points out other businesses owned by his countrymen. “Cambodian; Cambodian; Vietnamese landlord, Cambodian business; all Cambodian. And we're trying to buy that one.” As a tourist magnet, the mile-long string of cafés and strip malls hardly rivals, say, San Francisco's Chinatown. But that may change. Mr San and others are negotiating with the city of Long Beach, east of Los Angeles, to create America's first Cambodia Town.
If they succeed, it will join a fast-growing club. Before 2000 there were four signposted ethnic enclaves in and around Los Angeles: Chinatown, Little Tokyo, Koreatown and Little Saigon in Orange County. Since then a Little Armenia has appeared, together with a Thai Town, a Historic Filipinotown, a Little Ethiopia and a second Saigon Town. Other cities are following. Last week San Jose, in northern California, was considering a Vietnamese business district.
Immigration is one reason for the explosion of ethnic enclaves. The Asian population of Los Angeles and Orange counties grew by 15% between 2000 and 2005, to 1.7m. A bigger reason is marketing. Local officials have long seen such places as a cheap way of luring tourists. More recently, many have been influenced by Richard Florida, a sociologist who argues that young, educated workers are attracted to tolerant melting-pots. Celebrate your immigrants and gays, the thinking goes, and your city might become the new Silicon Valley.
Even as cities tout their ghettos, though, the ghettos are emptying. Charles Zhang, a demographer, points out that the Chinese and Vietnamese are leaving traditional inner-city enclaves and forming new clusters in the suburbs. California's Koreans are spreading out, too: less than a quarter now live in Los Angeles. Newer immigrants are likely to follow the same path. Well-to-do Cambodians are already drifting away from urban Long Beach in search of cheaper houses and better schools in the suburbs. Mr San recently joined them.
Indeed, California is now such an ethnic mish-mash that it is hard to tell where one enclave ends and another begins. Los Angeles's Armenian and Thai residents had to agree to share a section of Hollywood Boulevard. In 2004 a group of Indian businessmen in Artesia, a small suburb, tried to label their shopping district “Little India”. They failed. Artesia contains fewer Indians than whites, Mexicans, Chinese or Filipinos.

Prošle je godine 5991 beba dobila ime Muhamed, a ime John iste je godine ponijelo 6928 beba. Potom slijede Thomas, Joshua i Oliver. U Velikoj Britaniji živi oko 1,56 milijuna muslimana.
Man Sues Over Long-Lasting Erection

NEW YORK - A man has sued the maker of the health drink Boost Plus, claiming the vitamin-enriched beverage gave him an erection that would not subside and caused him to be hospitalized.
The lawsuit filed by Christopher Woods of New York said he bought the nutrition beverage made by the pharmaceutical company Novartis AG at a drugstore on June 5, 2004, and drank it.
Woods' court papers say he woke up the next morning "with an erection that would not subside" and sought treatment that day for the condition, called severe priapism.
Woods' lawyer did not return telephone calls for comment Tuesday.
Novartis' Boost Plus Web site describes the drink as "a great tasting, high calorie, nutritionally complete oral supplement for people who require extra energy and protein in a limited volume," in vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.
