ADJUSTABLE EXHAUST VALVE - 700R4 VALVE BODY SCHEMATIC - 3 WAY MIXING VALVE.

Adjustable Exhaust Valve

adjustable exhaust valve

    exhaust valve
  • a valve through which burned gases from a cylinder escape into the exhaust manifold

  • A poppet valve is a valve consisting of a hole, usually round or oval, and a tapered plug, usually a disk shape on the end of a shaft also called a valve stem. The shaft guides the plug portion by sliding through a valve guide.

  • (Exhaust valves) In the combustion process, these valves control the flow of the burnt air/fuel mixture to leave the engine and emerge into the atmosphere.

    adjustable
  • Able to be adjusted

  • capable of being changed so as to match or fit; "adjustable seat belts"

  • Adjustables are accent lights that can be aimed. The professional term is "adjustable accent light." In practice, most of the fixtures used for accent lighting are adjustable in some fashion.

  • (Adjustability) To compensate for long term aging, a frequency adjustment capability is often required in OCXOs.  This adjustment also allows for shifts that may occur during transport and subsequent processing of the oscillator.  The frequency tuning range and resolution are specified.

CRYOGENIC GATE VALVES. CRYOGENIC GATE

Cryogenic Gate Valves. Three Way Ball Valves.

Cryogenic Gate Valves

cryogenic gate valves

    gate valves
  • (Gate valve) A gate valve, also known as a sluice valve, is a valve that opens by lifting a round or rectangular gate/wedge out of the path of the fluid.

  • (gate valve) A type of valve in which the closing element (gate) is a disc that moves across the stream, often in a groove or slot for support against pressure.

  • A valve with a sliding part that controls the extent of the aperture

  • (Gate valve) A valve with a circular-shaped closing element that fits securely over an opening through which water flows. A valve that utilizes a disc moving at a right angle to the flow to regulate the rate of flow. When a gate valve is fully opened, there is no obstruction to the flow.

    cryogenic
  • Cryogenic was an Australian thrash metal/death metal band formed in 1992 in Wetherill Park, a suburb of Sydney, Australia.

  • of or relating to very low temperatures

  • (cryogenics) the branch of physics that studies the phenomena that occur at very low temperatures

James Webb Space Telescope First Flight Mirror Completes Cryogenic Testing (NASA, 4/8/09)

James Webb Space Telescope First Flight Mirror Completes Cryogenic Testing (NASA, 4/8/09)

NASA engineers and Ball Aerospace subcontractors guide two mounted mirrors into a vacuum test chamber in the X-ray and Cryogenic Facility at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala. The mirror tests completed recently at the facility will ensure the powerful mirrors -- the "eyes" of NASA's James Webb Space Telescope -- can withstand the extreme cold temperatures of space. The telescope, slated to launch in 2013, will study the most distant objects and phenomena in the universe. Ball Aerospace supports Northrop Grumman Corp., which is building the telescope for NASA.

92MX03-04 ND Ortec Scattering Chamber

I used this scattering chamber to collect my data for my thesis work. Polarized deuterons would enter from left and enter the scattering chamber. The deuterons would enter my gas chamber target and sometimes smack into a helium nucleus. Protons from the deuteron breakup would enter my detectors and be counted by electronics in the control room.

CLOW CHECK VALVE - CHECK VALVE

Clow Check Valve - 4 2 Way Solenoid Valve.

Clow Check Valve

clow check valve

    check valve
  • A valve that closes to prevent backward flow of liquid

  • A check valve, clack valve, non-return valve or one-way valve is a mechanical device, a valve, which normally allows fluid (liquid or gas) to flow through it in only one direction.

  • Limits the flow of gas to one direction only. Use a check valve between the bubbler and generator to prevent unwanted pressure build up in the generator, and a safety against a low level bubbler. A check valve, such as used on torches, is recommended.

  • A valve which will allow water to pass in one direction but will close and prevent flow (backflow) in the opposite direction.

    clow
  • specifies the color used to fill the bars with the lowest values. You cannot use the CLOW()= option in conjunction with a CBARS=variable, but you can use the CLOW()= option together with the CBARS=color and CHIGH()= options. See Output 11.3.1 for an illustration of the CHIGH()= option.

25/8/2011 We have found out why this has a levelling problem she has a air leak in the airbag top plate it's working, but after a couple of minutes from switching the engine off it go's down.
15/7/2011. Gear selector problem might have been fixed.
All work has stopped until i get moving again. problem the gear selector has stopped working.? ( no gears )

On the 26/3/2011, Started work on the levelling problem. ( 29/3/11 It's a stuck levelling arm unknown why it's a new one.)
12/2/2011, She has still got the self levelling problems. Work will start again when it stops raining. ( on the self levelling problem) We think a valve is getting stuck.

  • any valve that checks flow by the seating of a ball

  • A one-way valve that is opened and closed by pressure on a ball that fits into a cup-shaped opening
