Edinburgh University Student Accommodation : Grand Hotel Cap Ferrat France.
Edinburgh University Student Accommodation
- Student accommodation is a term used in debates over the impact of student housing in the United Kingdom, especially with regard to the recent expansion of numbers in higher education.
- As a student you can choose to live at home; in a shared house; or with other students in student accommodation (sometimes called halls of residence). Many students choose to live in student accommodation during their first year so that they can meet lots of other students easily.
- The University of Edinburgh, founded in 1582, is an internationally renowned centre for teaching and research in Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland. It was the fourth university to be established in Scotland.
Edinburgh Campus - typical study bedroom
The new Edinburgh Campus student residences will be available from summer 2012.
The 277-bed residences are being built on the west side of the University’s attractive, landscaped campus as a further expansion of the West Student Village.
The buildings are a contemporary re-interpretation of the traditional ‘university quad’ courtyard plan, surrounding an outdoor ‘social space’, designed to be used as an extension of the indoor space living space, Edinburgh weather permitting.
