Coffee table idea
I'm slowly getting tired of my ottoman as my coffee table. I do like the idea of putting my feet up, but it's getting dirty fast...(umm, not that my feet are dirty, just general everyday use.) And it's unstable if I don't have the tray there to set a drink on, etc.
Despite that i need to still purge more things, I feel like my apt is "heavy" with the carpet, the fabric ottoman, the fabric couch, the two fabric chairs. I need to lighten it up with see thru things(last Cure I wanted an acrylic coffee table.) and furniture with an open feel to them. If I want to add drapes, I'll be drowning in fabric everywhere.
[ Day 68 | Year 2 ] having a coffee table feels oh, so civilized!
I brought the second ottoman home from Target today in a cab. We negotiated the price at the start (he tried to get me to pay $10 when I know full well that the actual price is $7, we settled on $8) but when he realized he hadn't understood where I live (farther than he thought but still $7 away) he decided I had to get out of the cab and dropped me in front of another car service--which charged me $7. What an asshole.
