I used to come off the top of this thing at 20+ mph on my mountain bike down the tall drops. At the bottom, there is another stairwell (~45") and then a vertical drop (~36"). A fun sequence of stuff to ride down. I was pictured on the front page of the Western Herald newspaper coming off the top of the last vertical drop back in 1999 or so on my Trek Y Bike. hahaha, A Trek Y Bike. haha. Actually, I had 6200 miles on that bike and raced Iceman in 2000 with a cracked swingarm (finished mid-pack). Finished the frame off crashing on the parking deck stairs with snow covered tires in downtown Plymouth, MI in December 2000. A nice $1500 worth of damage.

Tire cover before
Ok so the story with this is that my parent's used to have a Ford Bronco in the 80's with a tire cover on the spare at the back with Yosemite Sam saying 'Back off'. They now have a Tracker with a spare tire and no cover so they asked me if I could find one on Ebay or somewhere but they just don't exist anymore! So I took matters into my own hands today and made my own! I bought the mudflaps with the design, scanned one, printed it, traced it and voila! I'm going to surprise them tomorrow. I'm getting my dad to drop off the Tracker in the morning, we'll clean it all purdy, install the muddies and the cover and return it to them in the evening.
