What a beautiful lampwork piece of art made by Kristan Child! It was an honor to get to work with such a lovely piece! On one side there are lovely yellow and creamy white roses with green leaves and on the other there are four blossoms of olive, grapefruit, blue and pink. All on a ruby red base with crystal clear for added texture and sparkle. To help with cost, the chain is stering silver plated but everything else is solid sterling. For a little mroe sparkle, I added peridot green genuine Swarovski crystals. The chain is doube strung 1.5mm rolo chain and is adjustable from 20-22 inches. A lobster clasp holds everything securely in place. Truly a wearable piece of art! Then everyone and everything that crawled around Hollywood's edges came out of the closet and tried to claim a part of her. That's another level of "show biz" that people tend to overlook. Bend over! I remember not too long ago balking at spending $40 to fill my tank. Now it's gone to this. Luckily I fill up half as much as before I started riding bikes again. $5 is actually cheap for gas. In reality it should be more like $8, but subsidies have kept it artificially low. Sadly we've built everything around cheap gas, and now it ain't so cheap so things will break soon. But before we OD on schadenfreude, let's not forget that high gas prices will impact poor working people the most. In L.A. many people simply cannot afford to live near where they work. They'll pay more to drive to work and pay more for basic necessities. It's not really going to make people ride their bikes or take public transit more, at least not yet. Most of us are overfed, impatient, and lazy biatches who would be pretty useless without cars.
