Leek stew
Easy and quick
50gr bacon (for taste) - cut in stripes 2 cloves garlic 1 carrot (cleaned and cut) 1 potato (peeled and cut) 1 leek (cut and washed) 1l water pepper 1 spoon red pepper paste 2 spoons corn flour Put bacon in water and let it cook for five minutes. Then add carrot and cook for another five minutes. Then add potato and leek, red pepper paste and pepper (freshly ground if possible) and let it simmer for another 15 minutes. 5-10 minutes before turning off the heat, add 2 spoons of corn flour (for polenta) to thicken the stew. Eat with bread. P.S. I added some red chilli pepper (but again too much - it was super spicy, just the way I like it, lol). |
