Demonstranti protiv seksi manekenke
Glamurozna modna revija kuće “Victoria Secret” održana pre nekoliko dana u Njujorku privukla je pažnju kako zbog prelepih modela seksi, donjeg veša i još lepših manekenki, tako i zbog protesta članova organizacije za zaštitu životinja (“Pama”) koji su izazvali manji skandal na manifestaciji. Oni su procenili da je ova revija odlična prilika za protest i odlučili da je iskoriste zarad svog publiciteta. Naime, u trenutku dok je brazilski super model Gisele Bundchen (poznata kao model firme koja proizvodi krzenene bunde) hodala pistom, nekoliko demonstranata iskočilo je na modnu pistu, noseći natpise “Gisele: Fur Scum” (Gisele: krzneni šljam), ali je ona, praveći se da ih ne primećuje, samo prošetala pored njih. Obezbeđenje je brzo reagovalo, uklonilo demonstrante koji su posle privedeni u policiju, a revija je nastavljena kao da se ništa nije dogodilo.
Osim ovog incidenta, revija “Victoria Secret” ostaće naravno upamćena i modelima, a pre svega po ogromnim, raznobojnim, “anđeoskim” krilima koje su nosile skoro sve manekenke. Krila su kombinovana sa bikinijma, čipkom i spornim krznom, a sve to, na savršeno građenim manekenkama, izgledalo je besprekorno.
Inače, pored pomenute Gisele Bundchen, na reviji su se pojavili i drugi super modeli: Naomi Campbell, zatim Heidi Klum, Michelle Alves, Lindsay Fremodt, Ana Hickman, Fernanda Tavares, Inga Savita i Ana Beatriz.
