There's No Sugar-Coating It, Ryan Tannehill Choked on Thursday Night Football
The Miami Dolphins (4-6) are now losers of three-straight games after Thursday night's 19-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills. While there are many areas to deflect the blame, look no further than rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill and the struggles of the offense.
Tannehill completed only 14-of-28 passes for 141 yards and one touchdown. With five interceptions in his last two games, things are starting to unravel for the signal-caller and the Dolphins.
If the NFL has taught us one thing, it is that the NFL Jerseys quarterback inherently shoulders the bulk of the blame when things are going badly and receives the most praise when things are looking up.
Right now, the Dolphins are in an undesirable spot and Tannehill is finding that the learning curve is harsh in the pros.
However, Tannehill can't be entirely at fault for the Dolphins' woes. Though he did lay an egg on Thursday night, how much of that can be attributed to play-calling or not having enough playmakers around him?
